Guild Wars 2

Heya!
I’ve recently gotten back into Guild Wars 2 again and decided that this time around I want the “full experience” of the game. I’ll get to what I mean in the “body” but first, let’s do the basics.

Server preference: EU, pref Piken Square in case of WvW etc, but as that is not my main concern anything EU works.

Play Type Preference: PvE mainly, though I’ve found that I see the charm in WvW

Player Style: Casual

Active Time: I’m on GMT+1 and play at very varied times as I work evenings two nights a week. Weekends, I try to occupy myself elsewhere during the evenings.

Voice preference: I’ve very rarely used voice communication outside of real life friends, but if everything feels right I refer voice to text.

Social preference: I’m looking for a friendly, nice community. I usually take some time to really feel at home, in most cases, but I’d like to find a guild that makes sure that I stop playing solo all the time and start hanging out with people in the game, even if only through chat/voice com at times.

Body:
So, me. I’m a guy from Sweden born 1991 that has enjoyed Guild Wars since Factions. I’ve mostly played with real life friends or by myself, however, only teaming up with other players when necessary. I now wish to change this (that full experience I was talking about, this is what I mean). So I’m looking for a guild that will make me feel at home and make it so that I can experience more of the game along with new friends (for instance, I’ve played only a few Dungeons so far, sadly).
I mainly play PvE, would love to invest more into Fractals, the new Raids, Dungeons, World Events etc and my main is a level 80 Charr Warrior (or Berserker now).
As for real life, I spend a lot of time playing games. I cosplay and help out with conventions in Sweden every now and then. I also work as customer support at a game company and am currently studying Game Design. So I’m pretty much a total geek for games, anime and so on and so forth.
I also have a little brother playing the game who is now returning to GW2 as well. So, he might possibly be interested in joining as well, in which case I’ll make sure that you get info about him too.

Maybe The Messengers Quest is something for you? We’re a guild that is friendly and focused on the ‘’playing together’’ part of the game. Currently TMQ has around 40 members with a core group of 15 that are enjoying the game together which includes helping each-other out with leveling/playing and all the PvE content.

Some Guild Information

The Messengers Quest is friendly Europe based social guild. We promote a fun, mature atmosphere that allows a good group of people to come together to enjoy Guild Wars 2 in all of it’s many aspects. We do have our own voice-comm server (via discord) and a website with forums to keep it touch with the [TMQ] community. W’re looking for a diverse group that can participate in: Dungeons, Exploration, Questing, PvP, helping each-other out and soon Raids.

[TMQ] welcomes all players be it starters or veterans, we are active in all areas of the game from PvP to dungeons, from dragon hunting to guild missions. The only thing we ask in return from our members is that they’re actively taking part and contributing in the guild instead of ‘’being just a name on the roster’’.

[TMQ] is different to many other guilds, we want to do more than just play together and kill things, although we do love killing things! We want to be more than just a guild; we want to create a community for all types of players, serious and casual. As a Europe based Guild, TMQ uses CET (GTM +1) for planning our events, dungeons, missions, etc., therefore the Guild’s Prime Time is around 19.00h CET – 01.00h CET.

Let’s start with the bad news:
- We don’t do any organised WvW as guild.

Than follows the good news
- We’re casual, GMT+0, family type of guild.
- We’ve got a few folks from sweden, or at least scandinavic

I think we’ve got what you’re looking for, fractals being done on daily basis, have two raid events (learning and experienced), together with guild missions.

Even more about us:
When The Night Falls [WTNF] is an Dedicated PvE Guild with players also doing PvP, only a few do WvW.
We’d like to see ourselves as an Casual / Family type of Guild, where players are valued by their Attitude and Personality.

Hey!

Thanks for your messages! I’ll look into them both more properly later. Unfortunately the last 24 hours has been total and utter chaos for me, so I’m quite out of energy right now.
