Guild Wars 2

Hello everybody,
I just came back to GW2 (I haven’t been playing for about 1.5 years) and seeing the complexity of pvp, I’ve decided to return. This time I won’t quit until I play a good, solid 6 months of active playing (hopefully in tournaments instead of hot-join).
So I want to join an active, descent PvP guild but I want to play the most needed and possibly least played profession. Naturally I want to practice before applying but I don’t know which to play since I’m unaware of the changes in the game so far.
I’m guessing people are short on bunkers hence I could fill that opening.
I’d like you guys to suggest any – profession – wep spec – role – that the game or you guys most need.

Problem with this is that most play professions are also usually most needed. Best advice I can give is..

If you want roaming direct damage/back capping roll a thief
If you want to bunk play guard
If you want condi pressure roll necro
If you want front line sustain/semi afk faceroll roll a warrior.

There are too many warriors in this game though, wouldn’t reccomend it in the long term..

In all seriousness, multi-class. Most teams need a multi-class. Someone who can play different variations of a far point assaulter to counter their home defense. Someone who can play different variations of home defender to counter their far assaulter. Et cetera, et cetera.
