When I started playing, I was on the Isle of Janthir (NA) Server. If I get an offer from a small NA guild, I will consider transferring back to NA.

Heya Noopleh! When I first saw your message, with EU in the title, I read it anyway, and thought you’d be a great fit for my guild, Ember Solace (and we for you, too), but I didn’t reply because we’re on an NA server. But then I just saw your reply that you’d consider transferring back to NA for the right guild, so I thought I’d say hi!

We’re on Tarnished Coast, and we’ve currently got 51 members. The “get to actually know people” caught my eye because I think that’s one of my guild’s greatest strengths. We all really care about each other. We have birthday threads whenever someone has a birthday, and we chat about stuff that’s going on in our lives, like looking for a new job or visiting family.

Our members range in experience from veteran players who’ve been with GW2 since beta (like me and my co-leader), to players who just started a few weeks ago. People are always willing to lend a hand with things like helping someone through a personal story quest or giving advice on builds. We have people who do Fractals casually, and a few people who are interested in more advanced, regular Fractals and are hoping to put together a static group for the purpose. We definitely don’t have any build requirements; we’re all about finding the best way to play that fits your playstyle. =)

Also, we have tPvP every Friday night (Friday Night Fights ftw!), and it’d be great to have you along! We’re there to have fun, and new people are welcome (no rank requirements). We have a mix of scheduled and spontaneous events. Some things (like FNFs, Guild Missions, some dungeons) are scheduled, and some are just spur-of-the-moment that people come up with and want to go do.

Anyway! This got long, lol. I know it’d be a big thing for you to transfer to an NA server, and I know you couldn’t guest or dungeon with us unless you transferred. What you could do, though, is register on our forums. Registered users get read-access to our GW2 sub-forums. It’s not quite the same thing, but maybe spending some time observing our forums (the threads people post, how people treat each other, the types and timing of events posted) might help you decide if it’d be worth it to transfer.

Please feel free to register and just poke around. We have a trial period, so if you decide you’re interested enough to join, you could apply (app is on the forums), and then kind of test out guild chat and TeamSpeak3 during the trial period (even if you can’t do events with us). Then after the trial period, if you still like us and decide it’s a go, you could transfer. If not, that’s definitely okay, too. Like I mentioned, I know it’s a big thing to transfer back to NA.

Anyway! Whatever you end up choosing, I hope you find a great guild home, Noopleh. =)

Hey Noopleh,

Our guild, Pandion Knights [PK], is currently looking for new members and I think we might not be too far from what you’re looking for!

A quick summary:
- We’re a fun and casual PvX guild on Seafarer’s Rest.
- We host weekly guild missions, dungeon runs, WvW/PvP groups and fractal runs amongst other things.
- We have an active and friendly (English speaking) TS server, as well as a website and forum, http://www.pandionknights.co.uk/.

So the only downside – our roster is quite a bit bigger than 20 players. However (as is the way of things) a sizeable percentage of those are perma-afk (and in fact we’re actively pruning it at the mo), so the number of ‘regulars’ is probably no more than 20 (10-15 or so is the usual number at guild events and the like) so hopefully we’re not too scary

Most of the guilds who actively recruit (and thus read this) will grow well past 20-30 in weeks. Also most large guilds especially old ones will struggle to field 20-30 player online round the clock. I hope you do find what you are looking for but you may have to go through the guild posts.

(On a side note we are PvX but at 400+ members are way outside your specific requirements)

I’ve played since launch too!

I’m not sure if we 100% meet your requirements, but we are certainly somewhat small. During Guild events, we field about 20 people max I would say.

We are pretty social and small minded, I’ve known many of these guys since shortly after launch. No requirements for builds or any of that sort. We have our teamspeak and usually chill on there (though it could be used more actively in my opinion).

One downside is we do not regularly run dungeons. We might sometimes get 5 people together to run a dungeon or a fractal, but not always. We just play the game, whatever we feel like doing. At the moment theres alot of Dry-Topping going on, understandably so I’d say

The second downside could be that our leader has taken a great liking to WvW and leading there, so he puts alot of emphasis and focus on Guild-Raids in WvW. But in my eyes it is all in good faith of being casual (I main ranger and they have no problem with me running it during those raids, to give you an idea of how casual we go about these things).
Having retired from serious WvW about a year ago (good old Vizunah days) I must admit that I do enjoy these raids alot more than I expected once I finally gave in and joined one:p
Since you’ve been looking for a while, if you want I can suggest you to try out, see how you like us lot and if it isn’t for you it just isnt meant to be, no hard feelings :p
I’d be happy to get to know you, been thinking of learning how to do some soloing dungeons. Usually I’ve just been put off by the time investment:)
