Guild Wars 2

Hi all

I’m an old rpg players (only in my 30s though) who has tried practically most available mmorpgs since Ultima Online. As a DAOC fan I view GW2 as the best possible rvr type of mmorpg.

Because of my age and a certain inclination to roleplaying I’m looking for a mature guild (chit chat on farts burps and other crap is not really my cup of tea)…if it’s wvw focused even better

Ideally I’m looking for an international guild: simply because I like the kind of atmosphere that it can offer

1) I have a lv 80 war and guard with exotic equip
2) server is not an issues: as long as it is EU and not a desert I’m more than happy to move

I think you’d fit right into Perilous People Club! We’re a mature and international guild located on Piken Square, (the unofficial official RP server of EU) where we do quite a lot of dungeons and guild chatting (also have TS, if you prefer voice chat).
We also have quite a few RPers, so discussing RP with people is not going to be a problem!

I’m not sure what time zone you are in, but I wanted to reply to tell you about our guild: [Alph] — it is an Australian- and EU- based guild on the EU Fissure of Woe server that I believe might suit you.

Our primary focus is on WvW, but we also run regular PvE content (ranging from dungeon nights to Living Story completion nights) at least once per week.

Our membership is mature – most of our members have family responsibilities and work full time jobs or study, etc. We all recognise what this can mean. We are a mature wvw focussed guild mainly of older people, lots have been gaming together for a long time. Located on the Gandara EU server (middle tier server, good wvw population but not the t1 lagfest). You said you had a warrior / guardian well that fits perfect in our melee heavy team setup. We run 20-25 man raids 3 times a week with organized wvw leading and good fun on friday night. Let me paste the recruitment topic here so you got all the required information. CNTK is an organised WvW guild with running a melee heavy 25-man composition.
In order to gain a tactical advantage over larger numbers than ourselves, our current tactics are based on sharp movement with focused area damage. Thus we require players with good survivability in an offensive orientated gear setup and the skillset to play their classes on the move.

We are expecting:
- Fundamental knowledge of your class
- General knowledge of other classes
- TS discipline (In/out combat)
- Attendance and commitment for 2 out of 3 main WvW events per week (19.00 – 23.00)

Many of our members have played together for several years but we also have several members who only joined us while playing GW2. We have a good community and often spend Friday night getting drunk together on TS while doing WvW.

Although WvW is our focus members are always willing to help out with other aspects of the game. We also have our own sPvP server which we use for trying out new things and the odd bit if inter guild rivalry.
