Causation, organized & determined Casual PvE

Causation is a month old guild aiming to provide a laid-back, friendly and mature environment in which to complete all of the PvE content this game has to offer.

Playstyle

The main focus of the guild will be PvE content and it’s successful completion. If there’s interest there may be some sPvP, but organized WvW will not.

Goals

To provide an environment in which everyone can enjoy the game, without feeling bad for that one inevitable mistake during that one dungeon/fractal/raid/worldboss run. One in which, even with lower playtime per week, PvE content can be completely experienced and entirely completed.

When PoF releases we’d dive into that and would aim to complete any (difficult) PvE (group) content that comes with that.

The guild sits firmly at 50+ members, many of which do fractals and dungeons together on an irregular basis. We’ve managed to claim a guild hall, are doing guild missions on Tuesdays 18:00 Server Time (20:00 CEST) and have established our first raiding team.

the idea behind organized & determined Casual

There doesn’t need to be only black and white. You don’t need to raid 4+ times a week to progress through content and you don’t need to bring multiple completely decked out characters to even be considered. Experience and gear comes with time spent in the game, mentality is the only requirement.
There will never be mandatory attendance (for example for raids) for more than 2 evenings/week. 2 evenings are enough to complete content, albeit at maybe a slower pace. The goal is to keep the weekend mostly free of these “obligations”, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Who are we looking for?

As a potential member, you’re not required to bring a dozen fully equipped characters and extensive knowledge of everything in the game. Only a willingness to learn, a laid back, mature attitude and plenty of patience.

This should become your “main guild”. You’re not required to represent 100% of the time, WvW guilds, sPvP teams, small circles of friends, guild banks and other “side activities” are certainly fine. But with representation comes activity and an unknown face may as well be an inactive member.

You should be 18+, preferably 21+, be comfortable speaking and writing english, using voice comms (discord) as well as be able to take a joke every now and then

Right now: We’re looking for a few more highly active, social players with a proactive mindset who’re not afraid of joining discord often, able to find their own content in downtime or happy to open up new groups from within the guild.

The guild’s growing rapidly and we’re aiming to do our first guild mission(s) soon, possibly this week already, after which we will start discussion about the guild hall. We’ve already done a number of dungeons and fractals with great success together and we’re still looking for more laid back but eager players!

We’ve successfully completed our first guild mission yesterday! In addition to that, rapid growth has set us at a decent number of members already. Currently looking at which guild hall will be claimed, which will happen soon™. There’s frequent fractal and dungeon runs happening and we’re looking for more members interested in joining the fun!

We’ve rapidly grown to 40 members in the last week. Our second set of guild missions was completed yesterday alongside the claiming of our new guild hall. We’re still looking for eager players, returning or experienced, who are friendly, patient and helpful towards those less experienced members of ours. Dungeons and fractals are still a thing we do, and there’s plans to get into raids.

We’ve come quite a way since the guild’s foundation just 3 weeks ago.
We’ve claimed a Guild Hall, established Guild Missions on Tuesdays and started raiding, killing Vale Guardian 2 weeks after founding the guild and Gorseval a day later with a raid roster of mostly inexperienced players.
We’re opening recruitment once more (after slowing down for a week) for a few highly active, social players with a pro-active mindset who’re happy to make this guild their new home. Contact PsaQi.7604 , envision.7365 or juno.5912 if you’re interested or need more information!

We’re closing in on 60 members yet again, at which point we will stop recruiting more players. Until that point we’re looking for a few more pro-active and social people to join us on our journey through this game.
