Guild Wars 2

PMS (Perpetual Motions Squad) is a new formed team, although the 4 current members have been playing togheter for quite a long time. We are not looking for ‘pro’ PvP players, but keen and willing to learn and improve with us, as we are not pro either. Having knowledge about rotations, builds and a sense of humor is a must. We do expect you are familiar with PvP, being aware of the basics.

The class we’re looking for are:
- Celestial Engineer
And this should be your main class.

Set up we would like to achieve:
- Bunker Guardian (Eyia, Bulgaria)
- S/D Thief (Impact, UK)
- Celestial Elementalist (Random, UK)
- Celestial Engineer (…)
- Shatter Mesmer (Vindex, Begium)

The player we’re looking for should have:
- Good knowledge about their classes and the role of their classes in PvP.
- Calm temper, no rage quitters, no sexists, racists or cat owners!
- Teamspeak and the ability to communicate.

We need active people, who we can count on. We’ll play (almost) every day and will work actively on the improving of our team.

Must it be Celengi?

Given the role, only celestial and rabid would be viable out of the current meta builds I’m aware of. Celestial means better healing, greater health pool, and a balance of direct and condition damage. Engineers are weak to conditions, thus, a greater health pool is useful to them. The greater healing power gives them the same if not better effective health than the additional toughness from a rabid amulet would. The healing power also benefits their allies for healing turret and elixir gun 5 (if used) heal in an area of effect. The balance of direct and condition damage allow them to benefit from might stacks more, and if their conditions are heavily countered, they will still be able to apply more direct damage and support than if they were rabid. There is also some, albeit limited, mobility with rifle 5 and elixir gun 4, which rabid engineers would not use and are less likely to use respectively.

That being said, we’re not closed-minded if you have an alternate build which can fulfill the same role.

So you would take a cele over a condi fair enough but would you still accept the condi all the same?

I don’t know. Personally I’d opt for no because it would imply they aren’t at least willing to try as celestial, and I’d personally take a warrior over a condition engineer. I don’t speak for all of us, though, so I’d have to talk to the others about it when they come on later today.

Everyone can mess up mesmer with thief and ele with warrior. Everyone!

But if you guys think the reason we won 10/10 matches last night is me being drunk, then I’m ready to get drunk every single night from now on. I’d do it for you guys.

I was so amazed seeing the thief could make clones and the warrior switched attunements :/ Let’s say we’ve been lucky with our matchmakings

Yes we were lucky. But I also remember the match when we killed the Lord at 350 points while the other team was at 490.

And the match when we won 500-498, because Impact killed Svanir in last second.

And of course the match when this warrior started to rage at me and to wanted to 1v1 me and I was like why you’d want to 1v1 a bunker guardian? He couldn’t even understand it was Impact killing him, not me.

But yeah we were lucky.
And now we need a lucky engi to join us!
