Hello everyone,
My name is Lars, I live in Sweden, Stockholm +1GMT. I am 32 years old and speak decently fluent English, but my spelling may leave something to be desired as I’ve never been a linguist.
I have been thinking of coming back to Guild Wars2 after a one and a half year hiatus. If I can find a guild or team that suits me, I’ll start playing GW2 for real, otherwise, I’ll simply move on.
I am looking for a hardcore team/Guild which are at the top of your particular league, it doesn’t matter in what genre, I would prefer a PVP oriented environment in the end, but it’s not a demand.
The reason I left GW2 in the first place, was because my old guild abandoned the game because of WvW being the way it was. We were solely oriented towards WvW in GW2.
The reason I am now searching for a new guild is because pretty much everyone of my old gaming friends have stopped playing. Be it because of work / family etc. you name it. They simply don’t have time anymore.
I have an esfj/estj type of personality. You can read up on them here if you don’t recognize the terms: ESFJ / ESTJ
Short info about me as a gamer:
I have a very hardcore oriented mindset in everything that I do, you can consider me to be active and on most of the time that I am able to, outside off work or the necessities to survive and friends being hard-kitten. As long as I don’t get bored.
I come from a long history of mmos, mostly enjoying the world pvp aspects, but I’ve probably played most of the games that have been out over the years.
In most games I have been doing solo/small mans or a small hardcore guild with the aim of beating the odds in regardless of the situation. Be it in terms of pve raiding or pvp teamplay.
I started my mmo career with Daoc, which is also the game I’ve been going back and forth too over the years, as it simply has the best world pvp imo. I’ve currently got three rr12’s, two rr11 and multiple chars with rr8 and below across all three realms.
Since Daoc I’ve been going through most of the mmo’s at a pretty rapid pace with my old guild mostly because they were never really satisfied, grew bored or whatever.
GW2 always stood out for me to be a game I could enjoy, as there is simply enough things for me to do without getting bored. I simply need people around me with the same mindset.
What I can offer you as a guild.
- Dedication through both activity and loyalty, as well as helping the guild progress forward.
- 100% representation, I have a guild comes first kind of mentality and attitude. I only play in one guild and one game at a time.
- Team-play and/or leadership, I’m used to being a leader in my old guild and I usually take on a form of leadership and make a hard effort to come up with strategies/general improvement, tips and tricks etc. I have however, no issue in simply following a chain of command and doing as I’m told.
- Self sufficiency and helping others, for every game I have played, I always strive to be self sufficient, meaning I usually got every craft, best armor/weapons, food/buffs I can get. I’m not someone who asks for help unless I absolutely have to. I always come prepared for raids/team fights and I’m never late to help guildies who need help, if I can provide.
- Mindset on always improving and being the best I can be, I take a bit of pride in never doing the same mistake twice. If you give me an assignment, I will carry it out thoroughly, usually with good results.
- I’m a programmer by work, I have a private server, TS2 server, Web knowledge. I’ll let your mind imagine the rest.
- No drama, no bullkitten, no backtalk. No trolling in general chat etc. I’m straight forward in what I say and think. Like it or not, that’s who I am. That being said, I’m not one to step on peoples toes without a very good reason.
- Always up for doing something and an easy going/fun mentality outside of serious raids/team fights.
What I expect from you:
- Hardcore mentality
- High activity
- No drama
- High skill cap
- Progressing the guild forward, making us all better.
- Speaks English
If you have read this far and are still interested with a similar mindset. Feel free to send me a message.
Kind regards, Lars.
