Guild Wars 2

Hello, and welcome! I’ve recently made a new WvW guild for the RoF borderlands, which is non-meta havoc/roaming guild, and would like to see if anyone would like to join it. By non-meta, I really do mean that you don’t have to have any meta builds, just sensible ones. Obviously, no six different stats on your armor, or rando runes, but you don’t need to play whatever is meta at the moment. I mean, if you run meta, by all means do so, but you don’t have to.

My goal is to have fun with the people who join, and mostly try to bring a less serious approach to WvW. We all know the annoyance that havoc/roamers pose to the borderlands; contesting points, taking sentries, murdering dollys, and just holding up smaller zergs from reaching their destinations as they had planned. They are the bane of the enemy lands, and the wonderful barb that pauses our foes. Now, imagine four independent groups of ten plus roamers being weird on the same map. That’s what I would like to do.

However, I don’t want it to be the same old “Stack on me!” shtick that we see all the time. Oh no. I want it to put the fun back into dysfunctional. There will be dumb features such as:

-Quaggan Corp; in which an entire group has Quaggan themed items, or themed dyes (possibly using tonics if they still work in WvW), and wandering around to kill, cap, and be a very random distraction for the enemy. Quaggan finisher would be preferred, but not required.

-Soft Kitty night: Everyone in the guild brings a Charr character for a wonderful variety of classes and humor. It will also help in letting people learn a class they may not be familiar with if they don’t use their Charr too much.

-DnD night: One group runs around with Druids, Necros, and Daredevils. This will be a great group, or they will be fodder. There will likely be no in between.

-Superhero night: You have a tribute character? Comics, manga, anime, books, television, you name it! Bring them along and let’s show the lands what it means to be a hero! Even if you have to respawn after every encounter. FOR NARNIA!

-Other insane ideas that might be thrown in by the guild for shiggles.

I want a guild that will be more about fun, and enjoying doing what damage you can before going down in a glorious ball of fire. I would love to have a sense of humor along with the desire to help out people who might not be able to use meta. You don’t have to be the best, you just have to do your best. There will be no rep rule, but it would be nice to see the tag once you get into the lands. You also are under no obligation to join on nights that we WvW. That’s right. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO, YOU DON’T HAVE TO. Life sometimes gets in the way, or you just need to let off steam away from a certain part of the game, and that’s okay too. If no one else will roam with me, then I will be there in one group with those who decide to help me be weird.
