Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing since launch and I am looking to join a guild for upcoming HoT content and, of course, raids. I’m primarily a PvE player but may dabble in WvW occasionally if there are easy dailies to be had.

Playstyle: By ‘semi-hardcore’ I mean I play GW2 a lot (usually logging on every day) but I don’t really take part in speed clears, meta builds, or super high end fractals. Of course, I am willing to learn new builds and upgrade my runes/sigils as required for the harder upcoming HoT content. I usually spend my GW2 time doing dailies, then moving on to level alts and/or a dungeon run. I main an Elementalist, but also have a max level Guardian,Ranger,Mesmer and Engineer.

Voice/communication: I have TS3 and mumble which I will use for co-ordinated group runs on dungeons, fractals and eventually raids. During normal gaming time I prefer to be off of voice chat as I listen to a lot of music in the background. I am based in the UK and thus speak fluent English but have limited knowledge of other languages.

Active time: I am most likely to be online during the evenings UK time. However, I have significant time consuming commitments in real life (last year of University) that will significantly affect my availability to play. Any guild I join will have to allow flexibility in attendance. If I am required to join for guild missions every weekend on the dot or else be kicked then unfortunately it will not work out in the long run.

Social Preference: I do not mind if the guild is a small, close knit community or a large loosely connected one as long as there are regularly active people to play with, either for general PvE or something more co-ordinated, and said community is largely respectful.

However, I do have very little patience for any mildly (or worse) sexist/racist humor or comments. I had a very bad experience in a previous guild where I was constant the butt of ‘lol women cant play games. go make me a sandwich’, etc etc jokes and this has left a very sour taste in my mouth. ‘Jokes’ such as the above make me uncomfortable – once again, I just want a respectful community.
