Hi, sup!
So yeah, I’m yet another guy who quit not too long after the game was released and is now trying to get back into it. Playing solo, though, it feels like I’m missing out on stuff and I doubt the game would hold my interest for long like that.
I used to play a warrior, but since I missed all the revamp and content patches – a lot of stuff is new to me – I’m currently leveling a guardian and a hunter (both 60-ish atm) to ease myself back into the game.
I’m pushing 30, have a full time job and not a whole lot free time on my hands to devote to any one specific game – which is why I’m looking for something fairly laid back and relaxed. An ideal guild would be something along these lines:
- mostly PVE oriented. Dungeons and Fractals where my main interest before I quit. I’d like to get back to that. I intend to try and get into sPVP at some point, but it’s very much on a backburner
- small/medium sized. I’d rather keep the “so who was that guy again?” aspect to a minimum
- another thing I’d prefer kept to a minimum are the “ecksdee” spam and meme spouting.
- fairly relaxed and laid back. Emphasis on fun, not hardcore attitute. No “login every day” or “represent 100% of the time” reqs. I can’t be, nor do I want to be, playing this game for hours on end every day. My “hardcore gaming” days are likely over – that’s not to say I expect a free ride – I fully intend to give it my best when I’m there. I just can’t be there as much as people with no obligations.
What you get in return is… well, the usual stuff:
- I have an 80 Warrior, which I intend to make my main again (unless they turned them in a total unplayable mess, you never know), and an 80 Thief. I plan on adding a Guardian and a Hunter to the mix as well.
- I’m not gonna tell you I’m some kinda gaming prodigy, but I do like to think I’m reasonably competent. If nothing else, it’s another body to throw at the baddies, right?
- And uh, I don’t know… my charming personality?
Now, I realize that might the picture I paint might not be the most appealing one, but that’s just so You’re clear on who I am and what You’re getting. I want to avoid wasting Your time as much as I’d rather avoid having mine wasted.
(Plus I bet a friend I could write up the most unappealing LFG post and still get recruited. So there’s that. It’s mostly true tho!)
