basically im looking to move to a new server from my current one. need an organized WvW guild as well. i am looking for a competitive guild that will give me a chance at earning my GvG spot. changing my build, gear, rune isnt an issue i just want a solid WvW group.

[SE] is just outside of T3 in T4 in a struggling server at the moment. Our guild runs everyday with a group of 20-25+ everyday. We are new to the GvG game. What classes do you play, what builds, and what WvW ranks?

lvl 80 warrior and ele but my main is warrior. warrior is the highest rank of i believe 180 or so. not to high because i mostly ran havoc in the past month or so.

Most. if not all, of the good GvG is outside of T1, so I’d strongly suggest T2 and below.

T2 is the GvG sweet spot atm. With Maguuma and SoR to be in and out of the tier on a regular basis you’ll see 5 servers that are really into their GvG (EP, AGG, RET (both of them), ETA, EK, HOPE, GF, TW, FEAR, Ark, PYRO; and even more that are practicing to get into them more).
I don’t know of any GvG guilds in the bottom half of T3 and T1 sounds really quiet on that front as well. Beneath T3…forget it.

Honestly, I wouldn’t want to transfer to t1 or t2 yet. They are going to be very volatile during the next few months, and that will cause some drama and some people leaving.

while Mag is in t3, if you are looking for great guild groups, and good GvG, I would recommend them. If would really recommend VR, as I have faced them a lot in the past 3 weeks, and they are kitten good.

As far as my server, SBI, we have Abyss, but we don’t GvG a ton atm. We do run a pretty good size group on reset night and can hang with any guild on reset night. After that, we are a PvX guild. so we will normally have 20ish people on NA prime, and a lot of people scattered throughout the day in WvW.

Myth just transferred in, I don’t know much about them yet (I have been busy with school projects this week), but I hear they are doing well. Deth came in as well, and they are currently recruiting (they have a thread up above).

Zeal is a smaller guild atm (also recruiting), but they have some very talented members. EXS is a great zerg busitng guild.

i want to bump the thread! I want to thank everyone who contacted me, but i realized that i also need a Pacific Time Zone guild. most guild that contacted me are running their skill groups during EST.

well, it sounds like you’d be an awesome fit for [FUNK] on Tarnished Coast. We’ve just recently transferred here, bringing with us around 15 ish players and since then we’ve been recruiting. Currently we field anywhere from 6 – 15 people during a raid because of real life stuff, but we’re currently looking to try and recruit until we’re in that comfortable zone of 25 – 30 man raids. We typically run from 7 – 10 PM (usually later since we’ve transferred) PST. On reset we run starting at 5 PM.

We’re used to being a skilled group and zerg busting but we’ve been lacking numbers so we’re just trying to get more bodies. So far it’s been a lot of fun for us making do with what we have, we can still be pretty effective facing larger groups.

Unfortunately we are not currently looking to GvG, but we’re all about mixin’ it up in WvW. =D
