Forsaken Gamers [FG]

Who we are:
Forsaken Gamers is a PC gaming community that was formed in 2011. We are mostly EU players and are at peak activity during the afternoon/evening GMT with many players logging in and out sporadically throughout the day. One of our goals is to have a 24-hour operation, so members can represent our community at all times. This means we are not indifferent to having players from America, Asia, or Oceania. In fact, we welcome players from other countries.

Forsaken Gamers is a close-knit community and we tend to look for members that are not afraid to be themselves. We DON’T want clones and respect each of our member’s views and opinions. Foremost, we want our members to be successful with any game they play with us. The main goal of any game experience is to have fun and we’re all about enjoying the game. We tend to speak our minds and don’t worry about how we are perceived in-game.

About our guild:
We are a PvX semi-hardcore guild that is currently stationed on the Piken Square [EU] server. Whilst we offer to our members daily dungeons, a social atmosphere and weekly guild missions the core of our guild and what we are mostly known for is our active and large coverage of World VS World in an organized structure. The guild participates in daytime and evening/night time raids that span across every day of the week.

Our current system appeals to players who are looking for small scale and large scale fights. Regularly we will run and organize community raids to strengthen the server, other times we will run enclosed guild only raids to improve our team-play and synergy.

• Sunday: Morning/Evening coverage, Guild Missions start 5pm GMT, Official WvW raid starts after, ends when raid is too small.

What we are looking for
We are looking for loyal and dedicated players who are active in Guild Wars 2. Preferably players who can play 20+ hours per week. We are looking for people who are looking to spend time occasionally in PvE but have a heart and passion to excel in a World Vs World environment.

What we require

• 18+ be mature, be able to take constructive criticism and make sure you can take dark humor.
• TS3 must be used for all guild groups/raids.
• You must be able to adapt to WvW specific builds for group synergy.
• You must be able to listen and work well as a team player.
• Be able to represent the guild 100% of the time.
• We require you to create an account on our website and be verified. Keeping up to date with builds and events of the guild.

I joinned FG a month ago and i fall inlove with the guild….I was more of a PvE player getting borred from the same old stuff , now I spend most of my time in WvW . Really like the teamplay and the nights we spend together , love our community and commanders . Our PvE and SPvP players are awsome aswell had the honor of trying out stuff with them too. There`s a lot of guild activities that make us bond and have fun.This guild made the game intresting again full of passion thank you FG ! Join us and share the fun

once apon a time i was lost in an endless sea of tier 1 US server pugs. In that barren and desolate wasteland i’d forgotten the feeling of brotherhood , the sound of comrades voices and a feeling of belonging .
I decided to go home….
so to desolation i ventured with dreams of glory , hopes of victory and the undercurrent of finding a brotherhood to belong.. in my quest i stumbled across a unit , no, more!…. a veritable horde of people fighting as one with the co-ordination unknown to my otherwise naiive mind.
i ask around and am bombarded with tales of great fights for the honour of the homeland , against overwhelming odds , and of a tight nit community where the lowest person can rise to prominence under the banner of [FG].
And to this subtle call to arms i joined the unit , the horde and the brotherhood never to look back , forthwith forging my future as a member of the mighty forsaken gamers !

To keep it short: Forsaken Gamers is that one perfect place to be. No matter what you are looking for, we have it !
Started by absolute silly fun-events, casual dungeon runs up to professional and good organized WvW raids.

With all of our different, yet same minded players you will always find your place to fit into our community.

Since i joined last year, we grew larger and larger but still stayed like a lovely family

I started playing GW2 in March, and was amazed by the visuals, the gameplay, and things were all pretty kitten sweet. I leveled a bit, crafted a bit, did some dungeons and I was suddenly level 80, and I started feeling like I had nothing worthwhile to do anymore. I’d seen most of the content from level 1 to 80, the dungeons were interesting once in a while, but not really my cup of tea. I’d done a bit of random PvP and WvW, but I had nobody to do it with and as such, the first impressions weren’t all that awesome. PvP was too similar to other games I’ve played to be of much interest, and WvW seemed to me too big of a deal for me to tackle then and there. I was ready to uninstall and move on.

Then I joined FG, and straight off the bat some hardass volunteered me for a dungeon. I figured, ‘hey, why not, I’ll tag along.’ This guy then started talking to me about theory crafting, in regards to WvW, and this got me a little bit interested in that aspect of the game. It led to my participation in a guild event in the borderlands. Imagine, if you will, joining a raiding party as a total scrub, knowing literally nothing about what you’re doing, how to do it, and why you’re doing it in the first place. The first few times were a bit confusing to say the least, but exciting for all that. There was, naturally, another event the following evening.

I’m still a WvW scrub, but the FG community helped me through the confusion, and I’ve had a ton of fun in the process, more thanks to the players than the gameplay, even though the gameplay is a lot of fun. The hundreds of hours I’ve logged in-game since joining have been an unexpected privilege.

After searching on many games and going through a lot of guilds i thought i would never find that same friendly and helpful communtity that i was a part of in Lotro, some could even think of it like a family.
That is until i joined Forsaken Gamers, i have now been with them for many months and i am proud to call it my home from home with some excellent people that are willing to help anyone that wants or needs it.
Anything you could want you will find as a member of FG be that dungeon running, WvW, GvG or just spending hours chatting away with your fellow members.

If any of that is what your looking for then this is definitely the place to be.

So im sitting here middle of January contemplating quitting the game. Ive achieved everything I wanted to achieve and was finding the game pretty boring. But I thought id join [FG] and give a large guild a chance to change my mind. Six months later im still here and I attribute this to the wide range of benefits this guild offers. From WvW (both structured and free), PvE events, dungeon parties, Fractal parties… being in [FG] has prolonged the lifespan of GW2 for me and ive never been happier!

Forsaken Gamers is more than just a guild, its a community and looking ahead even past GW2 I can see myself being part of [FG] for a long time yet. Oh, and my weekly Raffle event is amazing. Best part of GW2 by far :p

Hey adventurer, if you are looking for best guild, you are in a right place! I remember how in past i was looking for a guild. My target was to find really well organized PvX guild with good WvW raids and high guild member presence. It has taken me months and a lot of gems to transfer to other servers. Finally I came to Piken Square server and I have discovered the Forsaken Gamers guild.

Now i am FG member for 2 months. I really enjoy our WvW raids with awesome fights (i recommand you to watch our videos!). WvW raids, Events, dungeons, fractals, perfect organized guild missions, friendly and helpful community, that all makes me sure that i have choosen the best guild in Guild Wars 2!

If you are looking for an active, friendly community – FG is one of the best guilds to join. I’ve been in the guild since February and have no regrets on joining.
Countless members on during the day, a lot of guild events going on throughout the week.
Doing Dungeons, WvW Raids and even some tournaments in PvP.
FG is the best guild I’ve been in, on GW2 and I highly recommend joining us!

Played many games – FPS, LoL, all the big MMORPG’s and never had a guild/community like this, I thought the guilds I was in Aion, Warhammer were good, but FG is by far the best guild I’ve been a part of in ~6 years of gaming.
I started off in Guild Wars 2 as mostly a PvE/fractal player, constantly taking breaks to play other games because I didn’t find the end-game of GW2 appealing tbh.
When I joined FG in january it all changed and I can’t keep myself away from the game, especially the amazing WvW raids which I enjoy the most

I’ve been to multiple servers in multiple guilds, and out of all of them, none of them meet the organization and dedication of the FG community. The commanders and the officers represent an inspirational amount of dedication to the game and guild.
Forsaken Gamers has been the only thing in the past several months to ground me to Guild Wars and keep playing, because of the quality in both WvW and community discussion. The community is full of dedicated, funny, and mostly well mannered people that will make you want to get involved with the community.
I can’t recommend this guild enough for anyone interested in getting involved with a wonderful community and even more so for people who are interested in WvW.
If you join the guild and you leave due to whatever reason it may be, I will send you five gold personally (This of course only applies to people within the server and people who try the guild for at least one month.)

Like many of my fellow FG’ers, I was getting bored of the game and was drawn into the mindless carnage that is WvWvW~
My former guild was nice, but soon after i was invited to join FG my whole gaming experience changed. Of course the rads were great, but outside of that the members will overload you with friendliness and they are always willing to help in any way they can~
From WvWvW to guild missions… Dungeons to map completion… From Chatting in raids to chatting on TS… FG does it all~
