Right before the silver league hit the servers, Far shiverpeaks blossomed under the influx of amazing guilds. It was a perfectly balanced server with few PPT Guilds and Hardcore WvW, with the encouragement of new commanders we managed to run instead of 20 + pug zergs in EB And home border to 35+ (depending on time of course).

After Silver league was over we were still getting more guilds into the server, Teamspeak was vibrant and filled with members reaching 300+ daily. What basically happened about 2 months after everything was running smoothly and ranking up after each match. Was that some guilds sadly started to disband, forcing people to either leave the server for other guilds or attempt to join the ones that already exist in farshiverpeaks leaving less coverage on the map.

Far shiverpeaks is far from dead, or can be considered a low WvW populated server, we have no ques.. just less coverage on the maps we are still definitely in silver, not only that our community is great. With Weekly server / reset meetings, Teamspeak admins assigned especially for the server. Commanders for EB and Home, we are just missing a couple of guilds to fill in the void.

Right now we are looking for :

- WvW Guilds EU primetime ( 2 Guilds we are also welcoming PPT Guild at least one however the server is not entirely turning PPT but wants to maintain or increase its position at some point. Cooperation from guilds will ofcourse vary depending on their style of play)

- WvW NA Guild’s (1 or 2 we currently have one NA guild they could use some back up)

- Oceanic Guild’s are most welcomed since we have very low coverage during that time.

- We also have open positions for people who’d love to command public zergs (we have commanders but we would love to have more) Our public zergs are used to be on teamspeak listening and following the commander.

What do we offer?

- A fun environment to play in (FSP has been (major) drama free for a pretty long time now)
- A 500-slot public teamspeak server (lag-free); you will be able to get your own guild channel in here as well
- A public (server) forum
- A server where the guilds support GvG-ing (then again, there will always be individual players that feel the need to comment on them, but that’s not exclusively to FSP. Overall, acceptance of GvG is high)

My guild isn’t “hardcore” which is fine since we have hardcore on the server already and not everyone plays that way. So we serve our purpose of inclusion. Far Shiverpeaks has everything a player would want. We got casual WvW guilds, we got PPT guilds, we got hardcore fight guilds, and we got a good fundation for a nightshift. We just need people to strengthen up our fundations!

The best thing about FSP is it’s community. Everyone has freedom and no one is asked to do something or participate at, to accomplish something, people are mature enough to get themselves together and just get with it. So yea, major Drama free destination.

FSP is known for its determent fighting either with the guilds or PuG’s, we just keep going… fighting till we hit the sack or Anet drops a patch.
PuG’s are on TS more and more and actually follow the commanders. Maybe… just maybe just ran into them as well, PuG’s wiping a 1 (FSP) vs. 3 (random server) group which states the ‘know how’ and / or ‘builds’ in what our PuG’s run around in

As mentioned FSP has a stable 500 slot TS which runs on donations only and volunteer TS admins.
Also a server donated forum run by a volunteer bunch of admins.

Far Shiverpeaks is a server that is probably well known for it’s amazing last minute come backs and offers opposing server the fights they’re looking for (which we get in return), and for and EU server we are currently sitting in one of the most appealing tiers/ranks, where the fights are flourishing, not gold league zergs or bronze league map emptiness.

In Regards to any NA players/Guilds that may have concerns about lag, our current NA players/Guilds don’t seem to have any complaints in that department. And they have played on NA servers as well as EU to put a comparison in place.

As mentioned by the OP (Brodd) we have had a few guilds disband since end of season 1, and even so, most of them players still remained on FSP and reside in remaining guilds here, also Guilds in the past that have stated before they came, that they do move around a lot and will likely move on again have still stayed, which says a lot for the vibrant community we have here.

Our Teamspeak is amazing everyone gets to know everyone, even if your a Pug/PvX/hardcore GvG player, we all get along and enjoy each others company on the map and TS channel your in. As mentioned above by Lancelot, we are mature enough to just get on with things and have a laugh with each other while doing it.

We don’t have any structured timetable to say your guild is on x map. What we normally do is when ur guild enters a map say “whats guilds on this map?” get a reply “X and Y guilds”, just so u know who is working the same map as you for communication purposes, so 1 can push one objective while other 2 are able to do something more productive with another etc. Have some friendly banter like X guild doing all the hard work to wipe and cap hills and as they are on the lord the other 2 guilds leech the rewards :P.

FSP is a great place, I will never move. It has everything, and i mean EVERYTHING!! a WvW player could want. If you like to roam (just been doing it myself) there’s plenty to do. If you like open field battles (we are in EU silver league) open field battle everywhere. If you enjoy running with a pug commander we got that too. If you enjoy GvG’s, FSP has a very high acceptance of them, whether its watching or participating we have many Hardcore GvG guilds (who are not elitists might i add) and often, their members/raid leaders command pug zergs, and have a laugh on TS with everyone else. Even if you enjoy PvE once in a while, there is plenty going on in that department too.

Come to Far Shiverpeaks, and take that gamble, and I guarantee its a gamble you wont regret

Come have some fun with NUDE on FSP. We run mainly NA prime time and could use a just a wee bit more help in that time slot. We could also use Pacific Coast NA guild as you guys extend the NA time slot by 2-3 hours.
In addition, the most needed would be the Oceanics and SEA time slots. This covers NA’s sleep time and EU’s work time.
