With the end of World vs. World Season One, we at Ferguson’s Crossing know that many of you are looking for new worlds to call home. We wish to extend an invitation to you to join our family and our community.

WvW Highlights:

• Strong fighting spirit: In week two of season one, we fought it out against Darkhaven right up to reset, losing by less than 2,000 points. It is this same mentality that allowed us to propel ourselves from being the 24th ranked and worst server in North America to our current 18th place.
• The only low population server to be in Tier 6: Our server strives to use our forces efficiently.
• Zero queues: Apart from one borderland being queued only during reset night, there are absolutely zero queues on any borderland at any point in the day.
• No dominant guilds: Each guild is willing to put forth the effort in coordinating with and helping out one another. Our militia also plays a vital role in capturing and defending points.
• Valuing all our WvW players: No matter if you are a single roamer or a large guild, you can make a huge difference.
• Experienced commanders: We have several commanders who have played the game since release and have experience leading on both FC and in higher tiers. They are always willing to answer questions and help newer players in WvW.
• Fergballs, not zergballs: Not into zergs? We often run as smaller 5-10 man havoc squads in WvW due to our low population. That being said, we aren’t against running a massive zergball once in a while to let out some steam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U1DzLh_-iE

PvE Highlights:

• Active guilds: We possess several large guilds who run daily guild events in all aspects of the game. All of these guilds are actively recruiting people, so there is no worry over not finding a group to join.
• Schedule world boss farms: Our server bands together nightly for a world boss train to help our population with achievements and loot.
• Dungeon fun runs: Some guilds have members who run a track of dungeons nightly, and you can hop on and off the train at any time.

Ascension of the Elements [AoE]
Leader: Element X / Hydro Lazr
We are a casual guild with players of all skillsets and interests, new player and old players, who dedicate time to helping eachother, and doing a variety of events. We have guild WvW nights, as well as a number of players who devote themselves to wvw the rest of the time as well, also pvp tourney’s dungeons, bounties, rushes, puzzles, challenges, temples, you name it.

A Potential Paradox [APX]
[APX] is a PvX guild. We are a friendly guild, we like to do PvP, PvE, WvW, pretty much everything there is to do. In WvW we like to run roaming parties to throw off the other server. We also do guild bounties every week. Contact Urlic Dreyer- Dermal.8647 or Vue-purduealliss.7415

Bloody Swagmen [BS]
[BS] is a medium sized mostly Australian PvX guild who are especially strong in the Fergs night crew of WvW and were responsible for organizing a map capped omega golem rush with the help of [EDGE].
We do Guild missions, Dungeon runs, world bosses, GvG, Guild WvW nights and many other guild events all organized on our guild webiste. We have a very friendly community and you’ll quickly make friends and have a fun time if you are a new player or old.

Journey’s Edge [EDGE]
Respected and highly successful, [EDGE] is relied on multiple times throughout the week to pull their weight in WvW. In an attempt to become better in WvW, [EDGE] actively participates in GvG Fights. We are always looking for knowledgeable PvX Players to fill our ranks. If we are not in WvW, [EDGE] spends their time mentoring new players, running guild missions, dungeon farming, and world boss training.

In the last 6 months or so I have spent a lot of time running with WZ, EDGE, BS, LION, and others in WvW. I’ve met some amazing people and had a lot of fun making our presence felt across the borderlands. There has been no shortage of help offered when needed, whether it be advice or partying up to help out in a tough situation.

It’s great to see this initiative on the forums. Hope you all enjoy the break between Leagues and come back keen for more.

I just xfrd to FC from TC, and have no regrets whatsoever. Great community, awesome commanders, and NO QUEUE’s! I should have made this move months ago…

That’s great to hear! Our recent growth from tier 8 to 6 is mostly from recruiting and training our PvE population, but we only have so many PvE’ers to draw from. Now if we can get a couple guilds and some more oceanic/sea players we aren’t far from moving up to silver league.

While i’m not sure my constructive criticism on open field fights would be especially welcome here. FC is a fun server to fight within the bronze league sort of servers. One of the only servers to have a larger amount of WvW guilds every night outside of HoD I’d say. Great fighting them this week and they are very, very tenacious.

A great long time rival during the stale matchup days. As a member of ET i say fergies are a great server. If i’m not mistaken they are the only server to never rise above tier 7, but they still have many loyal wvwers despite the odds. I’ve had many victories against them but they are definitely a server that knows how to rebound as well despite how i put them down :P. Hope to see a matchup between ET and FC again I’d love to stomp some of u again XD.

WZ Description:
Founded in 1847 by James D. Micbobo. This guild has had it’s ups and downs but remains the most powerful train on FC. WZ also hosts the largest female gamer population in Guild Wars 2 due to the strong attractiveness that Micbobo gives off by being the Canada’s Next Top Model. They have an amazing core and hold one of the largest FC WvW population. The guild always has commanders online leading and playing either PPT or Zergbusting. Great guild full of great players. If you decide to join FC, I would highly recommend you check out WZ.

^ I’ve been on FC for a year and your post is about the most negative thing I’ve encountered so far.

I love FC. It’s like a thriving small town, and whenever i guest to another larger server for something I see the way they act, trying to do event secretly without letting people know etc. and all i can think i “Man, im glad i have a GOOD server to go back to”

And I’d like to go ahead and add our guild to the list, for anyone considering FC.

I transferred to FC about three weeks ago and I am very pleased with the WvW community here. Fast response times, great defense, and teamwork. Everything I was missing from my last server is here. If anyone is unhappy with their current WvW experience, I recommend checking out FC!

Through personal experience from playing in T1/T2 as well as on Ferguson’s Crossing, if you are looking for a place where each single individual can make a difference and have a lot of influence on the success and accomplishments of their efforts, look no further. Each and every guild is praised for support on our Battlegrounds, and the strategies and general WvW commanding/organization in FC is equivalent to or greater than that in the higher tiers, what we may lack in specific timezone coverage we definitely make up for in individual effort. Look forward to seeing prospective visitors/guilds, and to all those Fergs reading this post, FC pride world wide

We are in the process of getting our new forums/server website up. Stay tuned.

Very nice server to join. We moved here in January and have had an excellent time. The guilds and the people here are a joy to go into battle with. In the past few days we have gotten 2 skill groups and a nice havoc group to move here. Yes the server is not free, but we are in an excellent place for top 3 Bronze.
