Who We Are

Hello! Grindhouse Gaming [GH] is looking for fun, active players to join our established community. We are a an old guild stemming from gw1 with emphasis towards shenanigans and quaggans. We have a very efficacious group of people with a major focus in WvW while still giving our PvE players all the love they need. We have community events to include players of all levels, classes, and interests with the goal of keeping all of our members interested in this game and with each other. Our members range from hardcore WvW veterans, to dragon chasers. We’ve got everything, and our community is always helpful to those in need.

• Small group tactics, wEXP farming, large guild raids, mesmer/thief stealth-cap teams, roaming groups, scouting groups, and pretty much anything you can look for in WvW
• We have an organized and experienced group of veteran WvW players, many of whom have been playing since beta
• Our commanders are respected by and respectful to the WvW community
• GH works with anyone and everyone! We are often asked by less experienced guilds to train them, and our commanders are always more than willing to help out.

Community

We have leadership positions available to players who are interested in proactive involvement within GH
We have a friendly and helpful guild chat that is more than willing to answer any questions
We have many skilled players in sPvP to fight and test out new builds with
We are a very active guild within the SoS community and have great relations with others on this server
We do not require sole representation of GH (“multi-guilding” is more than welcome)

Weekly guild meetings for players to give us feedback and ideas on how we can go about improving our guild.

GH in action.

Hello. Im trying to apply in your page, but I cant post there.
I have read your rules, I am 18+ and I am in SoS.
I am returning to the game. I have 3 80s and some more.
I want to join a good organized guild, like yours seems to be.
First of all I want to experience the new content since I departed (the 2nd series of stories) and also better my gear if there is something new.
Then I will concentrate on WvW, as in the good all times. I have a lot of experience on that.
I used to be hardcore player, but this year I cant promise to be online so much as I was then. I can use VOIP (Teamspeak, Ventrilo or Mumble).
My characters are all named ElenX, like Elenguard (80 guardian), Elenmer (80 mesmer) or Elendalor (80 ranger). I also have a 67 Thief and other.

Leah forgot to mention we have the best recruitment thread on the sos forums ever!

Definitely a fun group of people, especially if you don’t take things too seriously. GH After Dark teamspeak conversations have lead to innumerable amounts of cringes, followed by intense pain caused by too much laughter.

All worth it.

These guys are kinda cool. Been with them for over two years now, and there has yet to be a dull moment.

I’ve been with them for a while now. They manage to get things done and keep it fun. They’re supportive of new people without making you feel like the total idiot you are.

What Joe said. We were all new to the game/a class at some point and we try very hard to remember that. If you’re new, don’t feel self conscious about joining us old farts. We’ll give you any tips we can that we’’ve picked up with minimal good natured ribbing.

Great guild! They are a big reason SoS has been hanging in T2 for so long, when the odds have been stacked against us.

Before joining GH, I never knew the glory of Doritos or Mountain Dew. Now as a GH member, I can 360-noscope with the best of them. Bwee-Bwee-Bwee, wrecked son, oh baby a triple.

This guild is also known as neck-beards anonymous, really fun people to run with.

Fun fact, there are five known named bivouacs in game. Best thing about the expansion? Potential for more bivouacs!

Anyone’s welcome! We don’t tend to have any scheduled events around ocx primetime but there are a few Australians and several late night NA people in the guild who would be on doing stuff. Most of our scheduled wvw raids and whatnot are at 8 eastern.
