(1)I little bit about myself I’ve been playing Guild wars since factions (Gw1) I think I was like 14.. lmao! Since then I’ve been almost solely playing GvG with a bit of RA/TA/HA.
(2)when I played I was mostly on the Euro side times guilds (God I loved those guys) But I had lost of experience with kitten talking hardcore learning criticism as a young kid lol, getting yelled at by a 30 year old Croatian monster, forcefully teaching me on being better so we can top help so kitten much. (3) much of my dedication was to be better, get better and work as a team to be better than anyone else. having that mindset help me and other practice our playing skills on each other in scrimmages for hours on end (no bs). This mentality drove me while already playing in top 5-10-15 50’s with a lot of these great guys. this went on for all the way until a year after EOTN.
(5) Fast forward to launch day GW2, I was beyond excited to play this WvW since GvG wasn’t an option I still loved the Idea and I jumped right in! Going in launch day I was a Blackgate Baby (; lol going in I knew I wanted to lead because in GW1 I was pretty young and I kinda had the mid range roll as split ranger/assassin or support of PB Mesmer/support ele so (6) calling tactics wasn’t viable until now and knowing I had experience learning quick on my feet and never giving up I was so down to command as soon as possible, so I did! within the first month I started to command in black gate with azreal the needle (which if you remember that far back he was the man)and I learned everything I did from him starting off since he mastered wvw so quick he literally was a genius, after about two months of commanding and wvw a lot of my Gw1 friends came to gw2 finally and I switch to Gate of madness with them, I finished the story with them and did all the pve poop stuff for the legendary when it came out at this point my time is a little off BUT the point was I took a break from hardcore wvw and then I got back into it at gate of madness. (at this point the wvw ladder was stabilized and situated) (7) playing in GOM I learned a lot of tactics, roles each player has in a team comp, I basically learned all the basics down to all the fine details that makes team comp team comp, and siege placement, tactics, relaying information, and applying strategic input on the field with what I knew or found outBUT not only that in Gom I learned how to run pugs efficiently to the point I had a lot of respect and it was just a Huge blast having fun.(8)this whole time obviously majority of the playing was done on TeamSpeak but also communicating via wisper/map, and commander chat on ts. (9) after a few months I got the chance to move over back to black gate to run in a guild that did team comp even more so hardcore and elite such as the famous (Red Guard) was doing, while doing that I learned even more, plays, play styles, ideas, but it was a different world because Gom was obviously a lot less and running in a different environment with 10/15/20/ people calling tacts and comp was second by second with us and other guilds, even working with pugs on the map too. eventually my guild moved over to BG and I ran with them for a good long while kittening kitten up and owning (; … I took a small break for about 2 months then came back and went over to Gom because I wanted that play style again so did that and used my experience to progress commanding over there,All in all I think you get the point now with my experience with GvG and WvW!
Whew that was a lot!
so Why I’m actually making this forum post before I get to the main main point is because in June 2014 I joined the military and ive been off on a lot of rigorous training (insert your imagination here) lol… now that im at the very tail end FINALLY, I miss gw2 so much and with all these things coming what better way to finally get back at it!
I don’t have a computer just yet but Im planning on maybe a digital storm or main gear! I want to be beyond up to date an never have to worry about anything since im trying to get back into the level I’m used to
