Guild Wars 2

[GZR] Geezer Guild is open to players 30 & older! We have been an active Guild Wars guild since 2005 with over 200 members. The bulk of our membership trends in the 40 -50 year old range. We have a Ventrilo server should you like to join us there (not required). We are a casual PVE based guild that doesn’t “plan events” but goes with whatever moves us from day to day. Recently that has been dungeon runs, world events, Tequatl (3 for 4 this week), temples, about a dozen members running wvw on weekend nights and helping other guild members that are new to this game. We will be getting more into Fractals here soon and certainly the Living Story content as it drops.

Our busiest times follow US EST and CST’s but there are players on 24/7 as we have players from all over the world and more than a few in PST zone.

All we ask for is respect for other members, represent fairly if in multiple guilds and to keep chats and Ventrilo PG-13. You never know when someones kids might be around.

Did I say casual? Can’t state that enough. The secret to our success has been our casual nature and our 30 day policy. Players that do not log into their account for more than 30 days are dropped from the roster. A PM is sent to them allowing them to rejoin us if they should return to the game. I am always recruiting (it’s like farming for me, never know what you’re gonna get) keeping the membership active. Many, many members have been here for 5, 6, 7 years and longer.

Drama free! I don’t suffer fools (not to be confused with foolishness, which I’m all for). Elitist snobs, boat rockers and all other forms of malcontents are quickly tossed over the rail. Zero tolerance.

NOT ON EHMRY BAY? Since we don’t pvp at all and have a minor wvw presence your home server doesn’t matter thanks to megaserver. You can join us for everything we do. Until Anet fixes guilds across multiple servers at the end of the year you wont see guild bank, guild research or guild buffs. You can of course transfer to Ehmry Bay or guest if you’d rather wait for the fixes.

You are the guild that I have been looking for! I am a 41 year old human female in real life. I have NO desire to engage in real drama, as I enjoy the virtual kind much better. I have an 80th level story completer Ranger and various low to medium level characters. I have never done a dungeon, PvP, WvW, BvW (boy vs. world) and would love to learn a little about such things. I am happy to change to your server. How do I change to your server? I didn’t even know that was an option. I usually play from 10 pm to whatever Pacific time USA.

Other qualifications- I can do a silly walk. It’s QUITE silly. I created a cult called “The LLustrious Order of the Lluminated Llama”. but no one seems to care. Finally, I would eat a mushy nectarine over a fine plum. Whataya think of that?

i was wondering if your guild is just 30+ or if a 25 year old can join the guild that hates drama and immaturity and that doesnt like my generation but does enjoy the company of folks that are older then me b/c i act like i am over 30 b/c of the way i was raised if you would like to let me know if i am able to join or not that would be great thanks for your time and i hope to hear from you soon

I would love to join your group if you’ve still got space. I am 48 and have two kids who also play. We have a guild together with a few real-life friends, so I can’t commit to a 100% rep guild, but I presume (hope) that by “casual” you don’t require 100% rep.
