What is Gates of Madness?

We are a strong, tight-knit group of WvW enthusiasts. Our community is solid, and strong, each of us watching each other’s back, and banding together for fun, and the betterment of our WvW server. We put fellowship and friendliness before everything else, but at the end of the day, we game hard, and play to win. We do many server pushes over the week, and when not we have quite a few commanders willing to take charge, and lead groups to glory. We have recently held a PvP tournament for guilds on our server which was twitch streamed and with its success we plan on making this a reoccuring event on our server. What Do We Have To Offer?

What Are We Looking For?

To be frank, we’re looking for numbers. While our community is very strong, we’re being paired against servers that have twice to three times the amount of players we have. While we can beat them in straight up fights, and often do, we simply need the numbers to push around the clock. We are looking for all types of guilds, PPT, Havoc and Zerg Busters. We are also looking for any experienced Commanders/Pugmanders for any and all time zones.

Now I’ve only recently joined GoM’s active WVW community again after a 1 year break, and i got to say. When I joined a lot of the Guild leaders in the TS came and welcomed me and my other guild members to the TS and server. I have been welcomed into the community and given the oppurtunity to voice my opinions and trying to help make the community even better. So if you want a very good community, GoM is a good place to call home. We have guild leader meetings, community diplomat meetings, war council meetings and more. So everyone is kept in the loop and we pride ourselves in our communication amongst each other.

Wonderful! That’s the one word I’d use to describe our server. Everyone is lovely and so willing to help out it’s almost overwhelming! I can’t begin to say how much I love the people here. I left FA to join friends, and not once have I thought about going back. If I had to pick a place to call home on Guild Wars 2, I’d say it’s here with Gate’s of Madness. They are all so amazing!

I’ve been in GoM since I started playing GW2. It has know been nearly 3 years… Took a couple month breaks in the past, switched to Dragonbrand and then Yak’s Bend from getting frustrating from having too many losing streaks and then decided to come back, since I missed home. Every since I came back, I have been enjoying playing WvW again with the community members. We have had alot of ups and downs in the past, lot’s have left, some have came back, others never came back but all I can say is, GoM is definitely my GW2 home. Our server has bad times especially in WvW but we come back around the bad things and turn them into good things…. Definitely a good spot for people/guilds wanting to help the community grow up again. If you are tired of having insane queues, getting ran over a 50+ group, not having any spot to shine, no space to roam, GoM is for you. We will love to have you on board and we are with opened arms.. Any help is more than welcome.
