Gunnar’s hold is looking for 1 or 2 small/medium sized SEA guilds (10-25 people) for the upcoming leagues.

We are a community made up of a lot of small/medium sized guilds, with our biggest guild presence being 35-40 on a good day, but generally, most guild groups run with between 10 and 25 people.

There are times when guild groups will team up to take an objective but due to the skill lag this causes it is not the way we choose to play. Our preferred play style is more offensive than defensive with several guilds specialising in open field zerg busting.

We have a strong Euro prime time presence and in recent weeks our Euro night time cover has been excellent with some dedicated commanders rallying the troops.

Our Achilles heel has always been between 06:00 and 18:00 GMT and this is a gap we are looking to fill. It will not be a time of PvD’ing as most of our opposition seem to be able to put out decent sized groups duing the day while most of us are at work/school/college/uni so there will be plenty to do.

With the advent of the new league system we expect to be in the Euro Silver league, somewhere in the middle and as a server we are happy with this position. We do not have aspirations to move up to the Gold league but we are intent on making a good impression in the Silver league, win or lose.

We have server wide VOIP (currently Mumble although the community is discussing other options) where you can have your own custom guild channels. A friendly, stable community, many of which have been here since the beginning, a community forum at www.gunnars-hold.eu and a general attitude of putting good tactical battles before points."

We are currently rank 14 and we are more than holding our own against higher ranked servers.

Just a quick note since we’ve had a few enquiries, our EU prime-time is stacked at the moment. Unfortunately we don’t have room for any additional raids in that time slot as queues are already a serious issue. So if you raid between 19:00 and 22:30 uk time please consider another home. Many of our opponent servers are looking for guilds to cover that time and we’d love the extra competition, lets make silver league awesome by spreading the action around.

As for guilds who play outside of prime-time GH is a great server to be on. We have an active and friendly community with a strong base of militia aided by a lot of very good guild groups. Another matchup finished, we are excited now about new challenge, this week we finished 2nd, thankful to our strong prime time but due to lack of our morning people we didin’t have enough power to push for Kodash…

Gunnars Hold will be in the middle of Silver League as it seems.
We have a very strong prime time and we can hold our own against very high ranking servers.
We need some help during, night and early morning.
If you think it will be just pvd then you are wrong:)
There are constant fights and lots of fun.
We have a very dedicated night crew, not very large but we can compete against most servers at silver league and that means you will have plenty of people to play with.

Don’t worry our beloved NA/Oceanic players, Gunnar’s are still looking for 1 or 2 medium sized guilds who play on NA/Oceanic times.

Final post by me before the leagues hit. Currently our offpeak needs a bit of a buff, we can carry our own in primetime and can compete with the best, but we lack the leadership needed to keep us ticking in the early hours. The server itself is great and has a very strong core community that keeps in touch via the Gunnars-hold.eu website and via the community teamspeak, which regularly houses hundreds of GH players.

We also have a strong PVE community with regular events and some very devoted players who keep things ticking along in WvW. Recently we’ve seen our server numbers grow, but there is room for more during EU offpeak times, basically if you raid or play outside of our primetime (18:00-22:00 uk time) you will be warmly welcomed.

GH is ideal if you’d like the following:

• Strong and stable community
• Guild friendly server
• Regular WvW Events ( Asura nights , heavy nights , necro nights , public raids etc)
• Regular PVE events ( March to mount maelstrom , fight for frostgorge )
• Strong community infrastructure (Shared Teamspeak, Server forums, GH PvP server)

Leagues have been started, if you’re bored of ques @ NA prime time join GH today (!) as we don’ t have ques over off peaks( usually 4-5 defenders on our bl) so come join and fight with us together

Our dear NA-SEA guilds join GH now for only 500 gems! We have a great comunity, dedicated players, and some amazing guilds here, all we need is you! So instead of waiting in Q for hours come and try out some of the best fights EU can give you come and help us make this comunity even better!

We’re stacked in primetime and we have some very strong guilds and players on this server which are very WvW orientated, but our offpeak could really use some extra hands and leadership during those hours. We have a very welcoming, hard working community which needs NA-SEA guilds to help us making our community bigger and stronger. You’ll get the chance of fighting some of the best guilds in EU as alot of them are stacked up in the silver league!

What we have to offer you:
- A strong and very WvW orientated server with a stable community
- A much used, server wide TeamSpeak 3 server and community website for good organization
- No queues during your primetime but lots of other guilds to fight!
- A majority of our ’’pugs’’ are WvW guild players who aren’t raiding at that particular moment; exceptions define the rule ofcourse. ( I think this is one of our biggest strength we have )
- We’re trying to help our non-WvW-guild ’’pugs’’ as much as possible by organizing pug training ( which is a project started recently ), posting builds and regularly allowing them to join open raids to get a feeling of organized WvW gameplay.
- We all love a good GvG and there won’t be made any problem of you doing it. I’m sure you will get alot more spectators than you will have people complaining!
- We have a good amount of banter on our server which means we want to achieve the best we can ( which is alot and will become bigger with your help ) but we also like to have fun in that proces!
- It just costs you 500 gems to come to our server. Hey… Money is important aswell, right!

You won’t feel lonely in the nights either, we have people who never sleep aswell ( just not enough yet, your guild would help us on that! ).
