Guild Wars 2

I have NO toons made. I don’t really know anyone that plays and I’d rather find a guild that I can join up with on a PVE server and then go from there. I’ve been playing MMO’S for over 10 years so I’m an experienced player. I’d just rather find a server and a guild I can stick with before I go and commit myself to make a toon on some random server.

Server matters only for deciding your WvW (realm vs realm) team. Otherwise you can join any PvE guild from any server because for PvE (and sPvP) we all share one mega server.

That said, if you are a solely PvE player then I recommend you deliberately join a low WvW Tier 8 sever such as Sorrows Furnace This is because joining a server counts against that population which, as stated earlier, affects only WvW. For the same reason joining a high WvW tier server such as FA is ill advised as you would further count against their already high WvW population.

Feel free to ask more questions since your deliberate caution raises a good question that all new players should ask.

Also depending on where you are, if you want an American server then look at the posts above but if you want an European server then Id suggest like Grimwar said, a low tier server for example Whiteside Ridge, and if you want an EU (Europe) server and join WSR (Whiteside Ridge) then give me a shout if you’d like to join my guild
