From past experiences (pre-Paid transfers it works) but we haven’t done it recently as we had much need to til recently. The key to it is coordinating with large PvE heavy guilds that may not WvW but if you can get one to help then they will talk to their friends and it will snowball to a larger effect than spamming LA/all PvE zones asking people to log off would.

You know, it’s not about how you fall down, but how you get back up.

We’re trying very hard to pull ourselves up, but we could use a few more hands. We’re a scrappy bunch on JQ. We have absolutely no plans to give up, or to quit playing. While it’s true we’re going through some changes lately, our core remains strong.

It’s time to rebuild around it, and that’s where we could use some new players. It’s been said before, but we really need players in the EU and NA timezone. You would never be at a lack of people to play against, and they are strong, competent players who have fought tooth and nail to get to where they are — our opponents. They won’t make your time on the field easy for you, and you’ll be happy for it.

Tiers… eh, don’t worry about tiers anymore. There’s no way to know from week to week where you’re going to end up, so come for the fights. Come for the people. We are a crazy bunch of people who hover somewhere between adult and 13 year old boy mentally. You will be fed, you will be watered, you will be welcomed into a supportive environment… and subjected to Strike Force. I’m… I’m terribly sorry about that last bit.

I am working on transferring to JQ, but am having trouble catching it at the right time when it is not full. Any suggestions on when the best time is to transfer?

The last time I saw us drop to Very High was fairly late, server time. I would check as late as possible, as it tends to drop off around that time. Failing that, early mornings. Good luck. I wish anet would just increase server pop already

What I don’t understand is, how the hell is SoR not Full, but JQ which seems to have a lower population in WvW atleast, is ALWAYS full? Are there just that many people on JQ that are PvE focused? Plus I hear people saying that JQ doesn’t have huge population outside of NA yet it is full 24/7.. Not sure if it is a bug or what, but it doesn’t seem right to me.. Ahhhh! :<

We are fortunate to have numerous and committed group of active WvW players, though we have our fair share of pvx and pve only population.

Some have stated that there are certain times throughout the day where JQ will not be full.

The reason is JQ has a lot of PvE and PvX guilds and SoR, comparatively, has a much larger percentage of their population that is strictly WvW and doesn’t PvE.

The best time currently is between 5:00-7:00 UK time (GMT+1) which is around 12-2pm EST I think. Its our weakest timezone in WvW.

For anyone waiting to move to JQ, Anet has increased server populations! We are now at Very High, and look to remain there for a while.

Try tuesday,wed,thur @ 4am to 7am New York Time.

I second that

Having fought JQ for months now, I have to say they are remarkable in respect to their oppositions and well as being fierce fighters in the field. They have a big a strong chinese community. However, there are weaknesses in their coverage, that I hope courageous guild(s) can fullfill. I believe that if they have a really strong EU guild, it will make their NA guild more fun (by keeping some of the gains in SEA).

However, do not feel pressured to maintain the gains, as the burden is not on your shoulders, JQ simply wants you to have fun and contribute.

This is your chance to help build up a great server, join JQ.
