[KISS] is LF the perfect server.
who cares about balance when stacking on 1 server with best EU coverage ensure the win, high ppt, keep everyone happy, does not burn members out and most healthy for their guild?
Play a game where you are almost guaranteed a win and see how fast you get burned out… Yes, it’s possible and happens A LOT in GW2 and many other games
My fun laughs at your server pride.
LOL love the trolling esp from joephuket ur post history is amazing LOL
as for thes guys joining sor if they did i wish they woulda went to jq but its not my call its there and i welcome them

How about play a game where you are guaranteed to lose and never get a fair chance to win? And see how fast you get a burn out.
These are the match ups Desolation is getting.
They made a choice with what they felt was best for their guild. Whether you think its the right one of not is irrelevant as they chose what they felt was best for them not for everyone else out there. For this I respect them and hope to see them out there for some good fights

So the answer is to move to NA servers and pvdoor? Not sure what your point is.

So the answer is to move to NA servers and pvdoor? Not sure what your point is.
The point is: constantly losing is even more boring than winning.
Arenanet should do something about the population coverage issues, which are more drastic in EU than NA. We have practically no servers with 24/7 coverage. Even EU rank 1, Visunah has relatively weak night and morning team. But it has some 24/7 coverage, thus it is able to dominate the game.
Suggesting that every WvWvW player from EU would transfer to NA is not a valid answer. Many cannot afford the transfer cost or simply don’t want to play on a NA server.
It is obvious that players, guilds and entire guild alliances transfer to a winning server, but this is just gonna make the game balance worse (also for NA). Glicko system reacts very slowly to population changes, thus we will continue to see imbalanced match ups and incorrect (inflated or underrated) glicko ratings.
Can’t be the same KISS who accused TDA of being glory hunters when we moved to Gandara.
GL to ya KISS. Hope it’s a perfect fit, i’ll miss hunting KISS on the bl’s though.
ANYWHERE except SoR. They have a powerful EU presence already.
Looks like KISS chose SoR… :/
First to KISS, hope you find what your looking for.
Second, to those that saying you get burnt out “How about play a game where you are guaranteed to lose and never get a fair chance to win? And see how fast you get a burn out.”
There really are a lot of people playing a game for strange reasons. As a guild leader, I play for the fun and frolicking, epic action night after night, epic fights. I really don’t remember the last time I looked at the score board and thought… OMG we lost, the week has been an utter fail.
I think ANET needs to rethink the tiers and the system. Get all guilds and players who give a flying kittykat about playing for points onto servers that only play against others who also only care for points.
The rest who play for the sheer enjoyment of PVP and the epic clashes in their own matchups.
Really if peoples fun is weighed at the end of the week by 1st, 2nd or 3rd…
Apologies for sidetrack, but a few people needed to get replied too. Weird mindset some gamers have.
Kind regards TUP – “Always looking for the fights”
Good luck
Nuff said on the matter.

Thanks Marty It was a real pleasure. Do you still hear from Matt?
Haven’t heared from him in months, I don’t think he’s playing the game anymore. If he does he’s still back on AG tho.
I’m a long standing member of KISS in GW1, so its going to be weird fighting you guys now. GL

It’s a smart choice. That’s perhaps the only server you can PVD in EU timezone in NA. I enjoy doing PVD when I need to level up my character(s) too. It’s one of the easiest way for me to level up. Go in a big blob of 60-80 vs 5-10 and steamrolled them for experience, badges, karma, etc.

BG’s EU timezone coverage isn’t a constant and stable blob. SOR’s is. BG Oceanic will be more of a stable blob than their EU. But then again, SOR and BG are the only 2 servers able to blob and steamrolled almost any servers easily. If free xfers were around, I’m sure I’ll go to SOR over BG since I see their side having the more bigger and stable zergs. It’s not just a matter of winning or losing. It’s a matter of whether or not you can even do anything. It’s impossible to fight, gather, or doing your dailies when 10+ full lvl 80’s steamrolled over you (in my case it’s uplvl to 80). When I was part of a huge zerg that steamrolled others, I wanted to call others who comments about the huge blobs “trolls” too. I didn’t because I know it was obvious that it wasn’t a fair match-up.
SOOO its sor fault that some days BG has huge numbers in EU and other days not so much, We on sor r not gonna ask r sea or oceanic guilds to play late and kill themselves over a game. Doing that only causes burn out and ppl getting bored and quiting the game
ANd it sucks that jQ doesnt have the eu coverage SOR and BG have but u cant blame either for that. You Cannot blame us if ppl dont look at jq as being an attractive fit for there guild for whatever reason. Most of the time guilds move to server they think they can have the most fun and have ppl to play with

It’s absolutely no ones fault but Kiss themselves for wanting to go to SoR. Same thing happened with SEA guilds going to BG, you can’t stop these guilds from going where they want to. Only thing is expect the forum warriors to be all over this and if SoR wins this week more of it. It sucks but I know BG had to deal with SoR forum warriors because we didn’t say no to the new guilds and send them to jq as well and that we swallow guilds. SoR is doing the exact same thing with Song and kiss. No ones fault but it will be the topic of any troll until the next guild gets recruited to t1 NA.

The irony, of course, is that more and more familiar faces from NA are popping up in EU maps every day, looking for more challenging gameplay. I think this is mostly happening because people are tired of the same old stale matches, but having played both sides, I honestly feel that EU WvW is more complex. There are more “oh wow, they tried that” moments. And I think we’ll start to see more and more guilds test the EU waters. I guess it’s not surprising that this reverse migration is starting to happen, given the limited choices of maintaining motivation in WvW. But it’ll be interesting to watch how it plays out in the coming months or so.

Not saying it’s SOR’s or BG’s fault for guilds that transfers over there unless it was they themselves who recruited heavily while being stacked… I know SOR wants competition and especially the guild “TW”. They transferred out of SOR temporarily just because they lack competition for 1 week.
As far as guilds looking for a server to transfer to… There’s many reasons. One of the main reasons which would apply to big but weaker guilds would be to stack onto an already stronger WvW server. Less common reason would be is for having better competition. Servers paying guilds to transfers? Did that ever happen? It’s mostly what you can hear about, but don’t know if it really happened. I know cookies were offer many times…
Most servers communities are quite good in general. From EU servers all the way to many other NA servers. Been around to many servers when free transfers was available. I find EU servers to be more stronger in terms of WvW/PvP focus but lacking in PVE area. Maybe it was just my dumb luck? In any case, I’m mostly casual and probably will be less incline now to really do much unless there’s a sizeable zerg to stand a chance to fight other zergs. I’m sure there’s more folks who may eventually feel this way and slowly those overstacked servers will get less and less fights…

NA looking for more challenging gameplay? You do realize that NA players primetime is considered pvd in EU? Hell look at RUIN, they left NA server because they got sick of other servers “pvd” them. So they went over to EU to pvd.
Everyone knows EU servers don’t have the 24h coverage so I don’t see why anyone would wanna go pvd over in EU.
Also T1 NA is the closest/most competitive in the 9 months (?) that this game has been out. More and more guilds are joining the tier and are loving the challenge (minus the occasional skill lag). I’m sure more EU guilds will come over and join the fun too.
It’s a whole different style of play in EU. I’m not saying one is better than the other, I’m just saying that those who want to challenge themselves are slowly starting to head over. Two more NA faces popped up in maps today — one from T2 server, one from T1. I get whispers from them, they’re excited about WvW all over again. That’s just a trickle of people mind you, but I can honestly see a big guild heading over to EU simply because what has evolved out of there is completely different from NA. That alone is motivation. Yep, there will be some element of PV-door depending on time of play, but what I’ve been seeing from even the lower population servers is highly skilled play — so the enemy you do fight is tough (again, not saying NA isn’t tough, it’s just different).
Since I’ve gone over to EU, I see about three to five new NA players on map each day. It’s only a matter of time before a big T1-T2 guild decides to give it a try too. If anything it’s a reprieve from the same old stale matches NA is facing now — an adventure of sorts.

big guilds have already moved to EU and moved back
EU LACKS the overall coverage to keep off hour guilds ppl get bored and leave
SOR
1) Whiteside Ridge – EU
2) EU Primetime is OK, mornings so and so, nightcap depends on day of the week.
3) Since we’re all together on Voice comms on our server it’s alright, there’s always a few tho. Sometimes amusing.
4) All round coverage and numbers.
→ We mostly fight outmanned ‘cause we have 3 organised guilds only. But you can check with our opponents, we fight in whatever numbers we come till the bitter end.
5) I wouldn’t know, I rarely ever play PvE
7) Yes, on Reset about 100 people in our Raidcall
8) Next to none, if there are Qs they are max 5 minutes most of the time. Except this week on reset was like 10min EB Q.
Here’s our server recruit thread:

Hi, I S U P E R S I N I ! Have you already found your new server, or are you still looking for it ?
If you are still wonderning where you will go, I suggest you to see this topic and consider joining Jade Sea. You might be happy of this choice.

1) What is your server and Zone EU/NA ?
2) What is your all round wvw coverage like?
3) How’s the maturity of the server “trolling etc”
4) What are the weak points to your server.
5) How is the pve? are area’s open or always contested etc..
7) Do you have active voice com and server wide activity?
8) what are your Que times like between the hours of 8pm – 4am UTC+1/uk time.
Why not come and give Vabbi a chance?
It’s not the worst server out there that everyone makes it out to believe, we’ve actually got a nice community of players, community teamspeak, and are working on a community website. We’ve got some of the nicest WvW players around, they’re always chit-chattie, which is nice. We’ve got a mixed community of players from europe and america, and some aussies aswell.
1) What is your server and Zone EU/NA ?
Vabbi – EU
2) What is your all round wvw coverage like?
I wont lie, its not great, but we’ve been improving over the last few weeks, dragging numbers together!
3) How’s the maturity of the server “trolling etc”
Quite mature, we tend to report trolls and racists, we dont welcome such people.
4) What are the weak points to your server.
Our WvW team isn’t that powerful but we’re able to get around 30+ players at peak time, and 50-60 at reset.
5) How is the pve? are area’s open or always contested etc..
Its mostly contested, but we run events weekly to open them.
6)
Erm, you forgot one?
7) Do you have active voice com and server wide activity?
Yes, we’re in the process of getting more players & guilds to use the community teamspeak, atm we’ve got quite a good turn out.
8) what are your Que times like between the hours of 8pm – 4am UTC+1/uk time.
We never have queue times to enter the borderlands, but its something we’d like to have maybe.
Alot of Vabbi players don’t do WvW because they see it as a lost cause, but when things actually go our way, ALOT of players show up to battle. It’s quite a sight. :’)
It’s your choice after all, but don’t forget the little guy!
Guys, they already picked SoR. A week ago I think.
