Guild Wars 2

I am looking to get back into GW2 again (havent played since Christmas). I stopped playing mainly because most of my friends left and being a rather shy girl I just sorta lost interest with no one to play with. I need an active guild on Tarnished Coast that is willing to take a shy and a bit newbish player into there guild. I have mostly PVE and a tiny bit of WvW experience. I want to do dungeons but I need people willing and able to show me the ropes and be patient with me in case I screw up. I would also really like it if there was a vent or skype chat group outside of game for me to stalk when I am busy working. I am an artist working freelance on private art commissions. I work at home from my computer so you can almost always find me online.

I think I am pretty easy to get along with. And I think I would enjoy the opportunity to make some new friends and start fresh with this game. I do not really care what kind of guild it is, PVP, PVE, WVW I am even willing to try and RP guild though I have not RPed in years.

My name is Atomo or Lucavex, a proud member of the guild, Remnants of Hope. We are all travelers of Tyria that have banded together to defeat our enemies. We participate in PvE, PvP, and RP events on the Tarnished Coast Server. We are not just some guild who wants to simply play a game, we work on building a community and making new friends.

Remnants of Hope gives their members the opportunity to play in any way they’d like and have fun. We offer PvE, PvP, and RP. We aren’t a guild that only focuses on one aspect of Guild Wars 2, this means we will never stop at the chance to try something new as a community.

We’d like to give our members the chance to play in the way they want to at any time they want. This means we offer PvE, PvP, RP, and maybe even some other made up mini-games just for fun. If you don’t like doing PvE, that’s fine with us! We can do RP and PvP with you. Or maybe the other way around, you don’t like PvP or RP, you can always join us in some PvE events. It doesn’t matter if you are a hard-core, semi-core, or casual player, we will be there fighting alongside you. We will always be trying all aspects of Guild Wars 2 and expand our limitations to work better as a community, and as friends.

You don’t have to worry about being shy, I am a pretty shy person as well, but this guild has been a good home for me. We do have a some “newbish” players that fit in just well with us. We do lots of dungeons and you won’t have to worry about messing up, we are a patient group of people and we all mess up sometimes. We do have a website you can stalk xD. I believe this guild would be a great place for you to start fresh and make many new friends because that is exactly what I did.

Welcome back to Tyria. I run a smaller guild called The Gryphons Aerie. We’re a casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. We run on mostly an EST time frame but we do have several west coast, European and Asian/Oceanic time zone members.

Knowledge of and/or participation in RP is not required.
We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP (although we don’t have a regular WvsW showing) and we do have our own sPVP arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact.
We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. Just leave a little note to let us know you’ll be away, and all is well.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family.
We are very LGBTQ friendly (with several members of the leadership being either part of the community or allies of it) and do not tolerate any sort of derogatory words, comments, bigotry etc. toward anyone. There are quite a few women in the guild, myself included.

We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons/Fractals (which I love to help teach), builds, and other general game questions. We also don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc, nor require anyone to bring a specific class or build for any dungeon run. Bring whatever you want and we’ll have fun regardless.

There is no requirement to be representing us at all times.
It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us a fair bit of time too.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.
