Guild Wars 2

I played first couple of months at release and played a variety of characters, couldn’t get any of my kids to play and I didn’t belong to a guild at the time so I stopped playing. I have started playing again in the last couple of weeks and I am enjoying myself, there are so many things new or that I just don’t remember about.

Looking for an Adult / Mature guild to join that has a decent amount of active players online either PST or EST. I’d like to experience dungeons, do some WvW and I’ve only seen 21% of the map so far. I enjoy hanging out helping with quests, running dungeons for fun/exp and I’ll have a lot of questions since I’m pretty much a new player.

On a personal note; I work full time, married w/ 4 kids and I spend my spare time playing games since I don’t really watch tv (that has a lot to do with the 4 kids). Currently enjoying GW2 and Diablo 3 since the new patch.

Hiya Kylthias! I think it’s awesome that you’re able to juggle work and family and still find time for gaming. From what you described about activity, dungeons, WvW, and map exploration, I really think you’d love it in Ember Solace. We’re a smaller (51-person) guild on Tarnished Coast, and we’re PvX, so we do everything you listed. We have Officers in charge of specific activities, including a Newbie Officer who loves helping people with personal quests and answering questions (and our regular members are super friendly, too).

We don’t have an age requirement, but we do have an application process to screen out potential trouble, and the app has a question about maturity so we can get a feel for people and ensure we’re a good fit for potential members and they’re a good fit for us. We do require 100% rep (with the exception of bank alts), but we don’t have a required play time or required activities, so I think we’d work really well with your busy schedule. Several of our weekly activities are scheduled at a set time, so people can plan for them if they want, but we also have plenty spur-of-the-moment stuff going on.

We use TS3 for voice chat, but it’s not required, and lots of people hang out in guild chat to talk, too. I’m not sure how many people online you’re wanting, but it’s 12:33 a.m. late Thursday night (early Friday morning) right now, and we have 17 people online.
