So before I say a little about myself, some basic info:
1. I live in the Pacific Time Zone(GMT -8), and as far as my hours online are concerned I’m normally on for at least a good 4+ hours every day or so. The times can somewhat vary but for the most part I’m at my most active in the evenings to late at night(19:00 to 2:00 as an estimate).
2. As the title implied I’d rather not have to transfers characters to another server. I say this because I’m starting to get to the higher levels(60 at the time of this writing) and would rather not have to either start over new or pay just about all the gold I’ve saved(possibly even more than that) for the gems needed to pay for the move.
3. My playstyle, as far as my skill build is concerned, definitely is meant for a more solo run of things. However with my mindset in fighting alongside others I definitely am more of a team player, always trying to keep an eye on my teammates to see when they might need assistance. I’m not always proud to say that I’ve died plenty of times before while trying to reach a teammate that had been downed... In addition I am also a fanatic when it comes to exploring(*Shakes fist at world completion* Soon...) and love the feeling of discovery in RPGs, which is a major aspect that made me want to play Guild Wars 2.
Now as for what I’m looking for in a guild, I primarily focus on PvE, but am not opposed to PvP or WvW so long as it’s understood that I typically do it just for fun, not out of a sense of competition. I would want a more close-knit guild, the member count not having to be incredibly small but overall I definitely want to feel a sense of camaraderie with my guildmates. The same kind of feeling one might have just spending time with a few friends. The kind of group that helps each other out not out of a sense of wanting them to owe you, but simply because you’d trust them to do the same for you in your time of need just like you would for theirs.
And finally a little about myself personally. I consider myself to be rather laid-back, perhaps a little too much so sometimes. It’s pretty rare for me to get emotional, which isn’t to say that I can’t express them, I just normally am more passive in general, rather level-headed essentially. I tend to be a little more shy until I start feeling more comfortable around the person I’m talking to(which usually doesn’t take too long once we find a topic we can both discuss). My sense of humor is definitely more sarcastic and/or dark, but it’s all meant to be in good fun and I will gladly stop/tone it down if asked to or if I offend anyone. As a side note I also am somewhat into roleplaying though have never really done it in an MMO setting and would find it rather grating to be roleplaying the entire time I am playing.
