I’m looking for a casual guild with mature people. Mature as in the chat is not filled with toilet humor etc. People that I can hang with, run dungeons with. I’m even willing to transfer servers for the right guild, but I’m currently on Crystal Desert.

I play mainly 3 days a week when I’m off from work Sun to Tues, between 9am and 8pm PST. (breaks in between when needed, lol)

I have 4 level 80’s Ranger, Guardian, Warrior, & Mesmer. Working on a Thief right now. And here’s the shocker, I have only run Arah Story mode and 2 paths in CoF. Haven’t run any fractals, or WvWvW.

I saw your post and thought you may be interested. I posted more information below regarding our guild. It’s lengthy but covers the important stuff. We are pretty relaxed and don’t have a lot of rules for how much you need to be on and runnning things or any lengthy applications. We just like to have fun and do joke around from time to time but it is not primarily make up our guild or vent chat. Our guild has a variety of people of all lvls and experience, we are always happy to assist new members in reaching their goals and exploring dungeons/fractals etc. So… If the lengthy reply doesn’t scare you off give me a shout.

About us:
Uber Noobz. (NooB) is looking for new and seasoned players to join our guild.
NooBs is a recently formed small guild whose founders originated in Guild Wars 1 and have been around since launch.

Our main goal is to relax and have fun with the game, not create a second job for people. Therefore, the guild is easy going and we welcome players of all skill levels, experience, and time spent in game. We have no explicit age requirements, rules, or lengthy application processes. That being said, if you are not comfortable with either a guild that likes joking around or hearing a couple curse words here and there, we may not be the best fit for you.

What we have to offer:

-Currently 85 members and growing, 25-30 of which are active daily. Most of our members are on evening and weekends.

-Dungeon Crawling: We have people able to run any type of dungeon (fotm up to lvl 20) including the typical speed runs and don’t mind teaching new members.

-Active Ventrilo: 10+ people at peak times. Speaking is not required.

-Events & Activities: Active world boss participation, living story event participation, guild bonuses/banner/activites

-Guild missions: We run guild bounty training on weekends as well as guild bounties and guild treks so that our members may enjoy the benefits of guild commendations. With continued growth we will work towards unlocking other guild missions as well, until such time we run treks and challenges with our alliance guild.

-Experienced leaders: Our leaders and officers are veteran Guild Wars players with multiple max level characters of all races and classes able to answer questions and offer assistance.

Hey Halthur I share your aversion to the toilet humor and crassness on public channels, and specifically don’t allow my guild to get that way.

I describe my guild’s policy as: “PG/Family-friendly, and no serious swearing or explicit content is allowed in order to maintain a civil atmosphere.”

In short, we are a casual PvE/WvW guild that emphasizes mature and respectful behavior on the part of our members (though a humorous/crazy streak is encouraged). We’re very laid-back about how people play the game, and don’t throw a fit if someone isn’t decked out in all exotic/ascended items and don’t necessarily know everything in the game. We’re relaxed, we teach, we chat and have fun together. That’s what it’s all about. (As an added bonus, it’s an extremely rare occasion that I have to deal with any sort of guild drama).

We generally do weekly Guild Bounties/Rushes/Challenges and WvW, as well as other random (and occaisionally whacky) events thrown in for variety.

At the moment, we have 20-30 people who login and represent RoMS on a daily basis, as well as a couple friendly guilds who we often muster with if not enough players are available for a particular activity. We’re most active in the evenings based on Central time zones, but happy to expand our activity at other times.

For voice, we typically use vent, but mostly only for WvW or sometimes dungeons. (Speaking is not required)

If you are interested, RoMS does have an application that it requires for new members, to ensure that we get people who fit the guild’s philosophy.

Synergy is an online community started by some friends with a goal to be the best. We have played multiple games throughout the past few years and the founders all have experience in high end World of Warcraft raiding and are active gamers in various genres.
