Guild Wars 2

I just started playing Guild Wars 2 about 4 or 5 days ago, and I’m interested in joining a guild of sorts. I purchased the Heroic edition yesterday. Being relatively new, I’m still learning the ropes of everything. It’s been a while since I played an MMORPG, so I’m also brushing up on terminology and things like that. Ideally, the guild would guide me through the game whenever I’m in need of its assistance (whether it be group instances or perhaps crafting services) and I’d do the same in return.

Race & Class: Charr Guardian
Play Style: I guess I’m casual. Whenever I get on, I usually play for at least 3 hours. I’ve never actually done a lot of PvP in most MMORPGs I’ve played, though I strive to obtain gear and builds that are optimal for PvP. I definitely would like to do a bit of it eventually.
Active Time(s):
- 6 am – 9 am, CST on weekdays
- 3 pm – 6 pm, CST on weekdays
- Weekends vary depending on homework load.
Miscellaneous: I don’t care for voice chat, but I don’t mind using them. I prefer a large group size over a small, but it’s not that big an issue, I don’t think. Also, the internet service here is quite horrendous. I get a lot of disconnections every day. Sucks.

Synergy is a guild started by some friends with a goal to create a small community of friendly players. We aren’t interested in having 500 members where no one knows anyone else. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.

•18 and up preferably

•Have a sense of humor but realize things may not always be PG13

Haven Community is a PvX Guild that has been around since day one of the game. We were a smaller tight knit group for a long time and for most of the beginning of the game. We are a mix of old and new players and have quite a few players who are very knowledgeable with the game and its mechanics.
