LF Guild[TC] - A returning Noob
I could always interest you in a spot in Wizened Wizards [WISE] guild. =)
We are a PvX (heavily focused to PvE) casual, yet structured, guild who wants to try to take part in all aspects that GW2 has to offer. Although we are a guild with growing numbers, we take more accustomed to the phrase ‘quality over quantity’, and that’s what we intend to do.
Being a casual guild, I have my rule of never removing one for inactivity; play at your leisure. Although I cannot assure you that you may/may not see many on at your time (especially with some schoolers/workers in the guild), we will definitely be on to have a great time with you!
Being a structured guild, while we don’t necessarily have a rep requirement as you join, we do keep an eye on this based to on our rank system, basically showing your loyalty/commitment to our guild, while always having fun with the other guilds.
If you want to take us into interest, and especially in becoming a member for us, you can always check out our guild expectations here -> http://i.imgur.com/lAPloUV.png
As always, a link to our recruitment thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/community/lookingfor/WISE-Wizened-Wizards-Casual-NSP-Server/page/2#post4706706
We do not make it required that you have to be on our home server (Northern Shiverpeaks) to join the guild at all, but if you plan to do WvW with us, then you will need to consider a transfer to NSP then. The type of voice communication we use is TeamSpeak 3, and I will try to get everyone to use it at that prime-time you listed!
Feel free to contact me in-game, as I will be sure to let you know of my response. =)
Hey Umbrose!
Being on another server means you can do everything with everyone except wvw. Wvw is the only thing exclusive to your server.
That said, I run a friendly PvX guild that focuses on end game content. We are very good about working with new/returning players. We’ve got nightly guild events so there is always something to enjoy and officers on to help you feel at home and answer questions. Id love to have you try us out.

Interesting.
I was mostly PVE focused in my other game, and imagine I’ll be the same here. I enjoyed PVP when I pushed myself to do it or friends dragged me along. However going in solo or joining a PUG can really take the fun out for me. All of your guilds sound very nice and I’ll probably end up joining one of you.
That said, I still want to dip my toes into WvW since it seems so unique to this game. Moving servers is something I would like to avoid unless the Maguuma guilds just aren’t recruiting and I find a good guild to move to.
Also worth noting, if you are scrapping your toons and starting over, you can transfer for free if you have no characters. However, TC is currently full. About 20% of our members aren’t on TC and we do have a handful of Mag players that are in the process of transferring.

No plans on scrapping my toons. It’s good to know I can avoid the fee if I wanted though. I’m not completely closed off to transferring, I just want to look where I am first. If I do transfer, TC looks like a good option since I see quite a few guilds recruiting there. Hopefully that’s a sign of guild activity as a whole. Getting around the “Full” status does seem to be an issue though.
Many players are in guilds not on their home server, in fact, about 20% of our roster is not on TC, so you’d fit in fine if you end up wanting to try us out
TC is the unofficial RP server so over the past 3 years we’ve been some what of the melting pot of GW2, very friendly, with players migrating from every where and we have a great WvW community as well.

Well… I made the move to the Tarnished Coast and still looking for a guild. I editted the OP to reflect the change. I had cast a few lines looking for Maguuma guild and wasn’t getting any nibbles, or just couldn’t find a good fit. So here’s hoping I have better luck on TC.
I also want to thank everyone for the offers made.
