Guild Wars 2

Looking for casual active Guild on TC server, not too interested in “mega” guilds but enough members to be around during various times of the day is best.

Prefer older players 25-35+ and absolutely no drama.

No strict requirements such as “zerkers only” or “hardcores only” – can’t handle elitist attitudes either – very much a fan of playing how you like, at your own pace and at your own skill level.

I’m a member of TTS and am with other guilds so I cannot rep 100%. I also have novelty names for several of my toons and don’t take the game super serious.

I want to run and learn dungeons, learn fractuals, and do guild activities as well as have a social group and groups for LS events.

Any open guilds fitting this?

I think I might have just what you’re looking for. My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

There is no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required either. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family. We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons, Fractals (which I love running and will gladly teach), or just your class(es)/game mechanics in general.

We do have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

I thought I’d bring you to the attention of Vanquish [Vanq] as well. We’re 18+ however, most of our members here are around the ages 25-45. Our primary home is in Tarnished Coast which is what you seem to be after. We’re an all around guild as well so you can join in on Fractals, WvW, dungeons, etc.

While many of us are experienced in our gaming (casually hardcore as some of us say), we have a fair number of newer players that we help out with slower, explained dungeon runs and among other things.

We definitely do not restrict anyone’s play-style to only berserker gear or only Warriors, etc. We’re very open about what class you want to take. Of course, some exceptions might apply with high level Fractals since Agony is a must. Other than that, there is no real restriction.

We ultimately want players that can represent us for the majority of their time online. Especially while doing activities with us.

You’re actually the guild that absorbed my old one. I intended to follow but saw there was a 100% rep (I can’t, TTS requires rep during events and I have friends in another guild I talk with) and no novelty toon names allowed.

No problem there at all. I just thought I would throw the info of us forward. I wouldn’t say (from experience) that it is sternly 100% rep as some of us do guild missions with our allied guild in which we’d rep them. As well as other things but we do want to be the one that players rep for the majority of the time. As for novelty toon names, there is no restriction or policy on that. It doesn’t have a direct effect on one’s ability to play… unless of course it’s ban-able by Anet! Hah!
