Guild Wars 2

I’m looking to see if an established guild exists that is

*Mature: Primarily adult members, adult oriented
*Social: Chatter in guild chat or an active Discord/website where people talk out of game
*Casual: or willing to accept casual players with no pressure
*A Community: A guild that has representation on other sites like Steam, or their own website or forum, or talks about/does things outside of GW2. Does holiday events and such.
ETA: An open world based guild? Or one that does map clears is a plus.

I’m in a smaller sized guild with a few friends and due to other people moving on to other games or being over GW2, activity has dropped. I posted a year ago looking for new places and never really found a place that fit, and activity has dropped more since I last posted. I don’t want to leave my home guild but I’d like to add to my guild roster as I miss the social aspect of talking to others while playing. So I’m seeing if there’s a guild out there who wouldn’t mind casual players joining their ranks. Due to work and life I’m not one for raids and fractals. I stick to open world exploration, mapping and events. I have HoT and can donate what I can to guild hall upgrades. I’m also on an NA server. I prefer text over voice in general but don’t mind joining guilds that have both an active text and voice chat.

Please respond here with information about the guild, how active it is, links to guild websites or whatever questions you may have. Feel free to refer me a guild you know or other recruitment sites that might be geared towards social-casual play. I’ll have a look around and respond accordingly. From The Ashes Risen [FENX] is a Primarily PvE/PvX Guild, very casual, active, Friendly and Helpful. We Welcome People from ALL SERVERS to join us and we are female friendly And LGBT Friendly. No one will judge you here. There is no rep requirement. No Drama, Zero Tolerance

One of the main things we realize is that this is just a game and real life comes first. So, if you need time away from the guild. Don’t worry we will be here waiting.

• If your going to be gone over 3 months please let us know so we can put you on the inactive list so you don’t get removed from the guild.

• We are a close knit group. Like a family.
  It has taken a great deal of work to keep us with that small guild feeling. No one is a number in this guild. We have an active guild chat and of course we encourage all members to join us on TS3 this is the best place to come to ask for assistance.
  We also encourage our members to make their own events and list them on the calendar for all to see and participate in.

• We do a little of everything that includes Fractals/Dungeons/World Bosses etc.

• We have Guild Missions/Guild Events most nights.

• We are currently in the process of switching WvW servers (more later)

• We have TS and a “Fully upgraded” PVP arena in the level 69 Guild Hall.

• We have a separate PVP arena outside of the guild.

• We are currently a medium sized, but helpful guild.

• We have a few members who do continue to also play Guild Wars 1.

• We are seeking people for all time zones. Remember we are on NA servers.

In case you’re still looking, maybe my little home may be suitable for you. We’re called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a small, casual/semi-casual yet social, 18+, PvE, family on Tarnished Coast (though as long as you’re on a NA server, it doesn’t matter too much unless you plan to WvsW heavily). Our peak time tends to be in the mid-late evening EST, though we have a few others from various time zones.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact.
We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. Just leave a little note to let us know you’ll be away, and all is well.

We do not demand 100% representation.
It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family.
We are very LGBTQ friendly and do not tolerate any sort of derogatory words, comments, bigotry etc. toward anyone regardless of nationality, race, religious beliefs, gender identity or sexuality. Anyone violating that policy is subject to immediate removal, no questions asked.

We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons/Fractals, builds, and other general game questions. All you need to do is ask. We also don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc, nor require anyone to bring a specific class or build for any dungeon run. Bring whatever you want and we’ll have fun regardless.

We also have a Discord, but use of the voice chat is on a purely optional basis.
