LF Semi-hardcore PvX Guild, Late EU TZ
Still looking!
Hi guys,
I have tried to trawl through the various different guild offers out there but there are so many servers and so many guilds I am struggling a little to find the right guild. I have approached a few guilds and subsequently left so I am now going to see if this will help my search.
Thank you all
Server preference: EU Server – Based on Desolation currently
may be willing to switch servers if good options
Play Type Preference: PvX – currently PvE but want to 100% do WvW and PvP
Player Style: Casual to Hardcore i.e. I want to be heavily involved
Active Time: I am online late EU TZ (8pm GMT to 2am GMT)
Voice preference: will use any required voip
Social preference: looking for teamwork and friendly tight community
I am not new to MMOs. My previous experience comes from EvE Online and then subsequently Guild Wars 1, as well as Dota 2. To give you an idea of my experiences, I have been Head Recruiter, and then later Vice Alliance CEO in a 1000 man EvE Online Alliance. In guild wars 1, I have GWAMM and over 1500hours spent. I have had little PvP experience but mostly GvG or Alliance Battles, as part of LGIT alliance.
In GW2, I am now looking for an active membership online during EU and early US TZ to talk with and trade ideas, as well as to do group activities. I am not interested in how many people rostered to the guild as I have found this is misleading as even in a few guilds with 300+ rostered members only 10-20 are online when I play – this is a little depressing. I want to be in a semi-hardcore guild where there is lots of activity and a good number of people online. I am used to a vibrant active community and would be eager to be involved in guild missions, fractals, WvW and Dungeons, as well as PvE.
My main weakness is that I do not have much GW2 experience but I want to learn to be useful in each of these scenarios. I, currently, only have one character @ level 77 – an elementalist. I am eager to embrace the challenge it provides, and I so far love the class, but I know I have much to learn. This does mean for most of the more hardcore-style guilds I may be considered useless – but please consider that I am eager to become a crucial cog in the gear to ensure smooth running, and if trained properly and given the opportunity I will be a useful asset to any organised guild. As said I am willing to consider server switch if it’s worth my while – I only chose Desolation as it was the highest rank server for WvW at the time that had any space.
I am eager to hear from you all.
