Hey,
I’m looking for a guild that is exclusively (or almost exclusively) veteran players. By veteran I mean people that have been playing this game/series for a long time and that I don’t have to teach dungeons or fractals every time I was to invite a guildy to a run. I’m not asking for hardcore speedrunners, just decent players that know how to play and run with good gear/builds (ie Zerker gear in PvE, knowing their class, using consumables… just standard stuff that anyone that’s been playing for a while knows and does). Another positive is that guild members in general are positive people that won’t spend the entire day complaining that this is an awful game and that they hate it, etc etc… I appreciate mature people who enjoy the lore or just enjoy the game/series they are playing.
Member count doesn’t matter but 80-100+ is my minimum because I find less than that, guilds die quickly as soon as a few people stop playing (I don’t have a max on members, 500 is fine with me as long as veteran criteria is met). I don’t care if you have guild missions unlocked. As stated above my main criteria is that the guild is mostly veterans that know how to play without having to be told. I have teamspeak and will use it if required but since I mostly play nights I usually keep pretty quiet.
About me, I have ~16.7k AP, play mostly everything in PvE (all dungeons, level 50 fractal, 6/8 on 100% map completion, living story, etc). Sometimes I’ll do solo queue pvp for a few days then get tired of it again —- so not much PvP and never tPvP. I rarely if never play WvW mostly for lack of interest in that aspect of the game. I spend a lot of time just hanging out in game (usually deciding how to next burn through all my gold for fashion wars 2). I play mostly thief and warrior, but I have geared 80s of all professions and am capable of playing mesmer, ele, ranger decently as well. Guardian/engi/necro I’m not great with but willing to learn in the future once I finish more of my other goals in game.
My play time is somewhat limited to friday/saturday nights these days with work, although I sometimes play very early in the morning or in the afternoon during the week (I work nights Eastern time).
My main goals in game are to finish my last 2 characters with 100% map completion, finish my dungeoneer title (I’m ~80-85% of the way), work on more achievements, win the fashion wars, play all new content that is released in the future, etc. Basically I’ve been playing since Guild Wars 1 beta and while I’m not always positive about the outlook of Guild Wars 2, I’m in it for the long haul unless they really screw the pooch. I’m a mainly a completionist and fully expect to do every achievement “eventually” (except kitten keg brawl, that minigame is the spawn of satan Kormir) in this game before I stop playing. have been in speedrunning guilds before and am pretty decent in all aspects of PvE and not completely awful at WvW and PvP.
So just to hammer the point in, I just want a friendly group of veteran players to play/hang out with, 0 drama (no attention kitten, no hating on the game all the time, nothing too crazy in guild chat, etc etc) that know how to play pretty well (and I’m OK with teaching specific tactics in runs, just not the entire dungeons and/or people’s professions).
