Guild Wars 2

No unpersonalized guild spam please.

Hi, I’m a NA player. I just hit 80 on my first character (a necro) and I’m looking for a guild that will guide me through endgame content, preferably on Blackgate for WvW. I am interested in PvX and willing to try anything, but I would really like to run dungeons for gear and gold. I consider myself a semi-hardcore player and an MMO veteran. This means I do not spend my time picking flowers and watching cutscenes (unless achievement or gold grinding): I am interested in learning how to min/max my profession, how to properly do dungeons/following orders in PvP and I do not stand in the fire. However, I am also not looking to speed run, get rank 1 in PvP, or any other such achievements that require a significant time investment and/or raging. I can and will use Teamspeak, Skype, Mumble, Vent, and god knows what other VOIP apps you crazy people use but bear in mind I have a minor speech impediment.

In spite of what I wrote above, I am friendly and approachable. I would strongly prefer a mature 18+ or 21+ guild. I am only asking for some guild to give me a chance and a little guidance (but not handholding) and I will offer your guild a reliable, friendly, and competent player in the long run. I have a sense of humor and I like friendly ribbing but it will be tasteful.

Lastly, this sounds too much like a personals ad but I prefer medium sized guilds where I don’t feel crowded out but also has enough members to cover people not being around every night or do impromptu activities. So no “invite/forum spam” kind guilds please.

Hey Karous – sounds like you are very opinionated about the kind of guild you are after. I want to leave our information here for you but also personalize this so you know I have read your thread. Let me know in-game if you have any additional questions that aren’t answered by the following information :

Synergy is a guild started by some friends with a goal to create a small community of friendly players. We aren’t interested in having 500 members where no one knows anyone else. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.

As a guild leader, I must say that this is EXACTLY what I’d like to see when somebody posts looking for a guild. I know precisely what you want and whether my guild would work. (In my guild’s case, probably not, as we’re on SoR, probably a bit smaller than you’d want, and we do stop to smell the flowers from time-to-time.)

Karous, you are what a lot of guilds want in a member, mine included. But, alas, we’re on FC and are likely too small for your taste (about 14 people log in regularly).

We run WvW a lot and love to show people the ropes. Dungeons are also high up on our list of stuff to do.
