Hello! I took a hiatus from GW for awhile and I just picked it up again not too long ago. Last guild I was in was a bit larger, so I’m looking for a smaller group (Under 40 or so members) to join. I’m a bit more of a casual player, but I still enjoy WvW and PvP.

Hello, FalconSocks. (I get a great mental image from your screen name.) I know you said you wanted a smaller guild. My guild, Ember Solace, has about 60 members. It’s a tiny bit bigger than what you said, but we’re very close-knit and care a lot about each other. We’re on Tarnished Coast, so it might make it hard for you to do WvW with us, but you could still join in with everything else (we do a little bit of everything from Fractals to jumping puzzles to team PvP to Guild Missions to WvW and more).

About [CORE]

Commanders of the Reborn Empire [CORE] is a friendly, mature PvE-based guild that resides on Ehmry Bay, although we accept players from all servers. We have a mixture of casual and semi-hardcore players (25 or so members) that have been playing together for a while now however we are always looking for new members to teach, explore and socialize with.

We primarily communicate to each other through guild chat or Teamspeak 3 (we have our own private server). TS3 is by no means required to use although in some cases, it is preferred.

In terms of guild progression, we have all of the guild upgrades unlocked (including a guild bank, guild armorer/weapons contract, etc). Additionally, [CORE] members have access to a variety of buffs/banners.

We do ask for majority representation as we want to keep expanding our community and in order to so, we need to maintain an active presence in the guild.

Activities

• Dungeons- Many of our members are experienced dungeon runners and would be willing to assist those who may wary about stepping into a dungeon. We don’t require you to run certain builds as we are not speed clearers and instead have a more relaxed approach about completing them. In other words, we are more focused on having fun rather than being efficient.

• Group Events – We typically try to kill the world bosses and/or champ farm every day. I, along with a few others from the guild, have a tendency to initiate the pre-events/event for the world bosses that are either lesser-known or not completed very often (such as the Megadestroyer, Fire Shaman, Taidha Covington, etc). On occasion, we will also lead temple runs as well.

• Guild Missions – We encourage our members to participate in weekly guild missions. We typically do a guild bounty, puzzle and rush. If we have the numbers, we’ll even attempt a guild challenge.

• Jumping Puzzles – We have a few jumping puzzle connoisseurs that enjoy showing others how to complete certain puzzles that they may be stuck on. If coordinated jumping just isn’t your thing, we likely have a mesmer available that would gladly portal you.

• Living Story – The living story content is often explored together as a group. We typically help each other get the achievements/reward(s) associated with that particular update as well.

• Map Completion – We will often group up and complete an area together on either our alts or main character. Many of us thoroughly enjoy the exploration aspect of the game and will often find ourselves walking off the beaten path (which typically leads us to discovering new and exciting things…or death :P).

• WvW – When the mood strikes us, [CORE] members will roam on the battlefield in a small group (as opposed to zerging around). We will often take sentries, camps, towers, etc.

Hey hey Falcon! Smaller is great and that’s why we’re typically a ~50 man guild. Enough to have people on to do things together every night and get to know one another!

Synergy is a guild started by some friends with a goal to create a small community of friendly players. We aren’t interested in having 500 members where no one knows anyone else. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.
