Hello from Anvil Rock!

I’m a somewhat socially-anxious individual looking to actually have some people to play with in this game. I am casual, at this point, and I know that will mean an automatic “no” from a lot of you, and that’s ok. I’m not here to be an elite. I’m here to find some cool, patient people to be friends/mentors.

I don’t do PvP, due to anxiety issues which PvP inexplicably triggers (hyperventilation and all that). But I love PvE, and I want to get into it in this game. I currently have a level 80 ranger I’ve been trying (and struggling) to get Druid on. I’m willing to level up whatever else, too, but I just haven’t had any motivation to do so, up to this point.

I do so understand your issues. I’d love to add you as one of my friends and I have a level 80 druid as well as others, but my main is druid. Please add me as a friend and look me up I’m online quite a bit and have time to hang out. I know how it feels to not have much motivation I’m starting to feel that way too so maybe we can team up and play. Let me know! =)

Heya, Bacon, there’s nothing to be worried about in terms of your being casual and I don’t think you will get an “automatic no” from most anyone in this game. There are a lot of great groups you can join and just stick to in game chat until you feel ready to explore voice such as Discord. Coming here and asking was a great first step. I encourage you to contact Wolfieblitz in game and just let things flow from there. I would certainly enjoy joining in with you to get some hero points for your Druid unlock however I’m leaving on vacation tomorrow. My point is, this is a great game with some truly amazing people. Get with Wolfie, spend some time together, and I’m sure you will find a great home with them.

If you meet our age requirement (over 30), I’d like to extend an invitation for you to join our guild, Just Us Grownups.

We’re a small guild that’s built on the principle that older, mature and well-mannered gamers don’t need an extensive amount of structure to play the game together. We don’t have officers and it’s the membership itself that runs the guild and protects itself from drama.

Here are the basics:

*We’re on the Jade Quarry server (NA)
*We’re a small guild that would like to remain small (for the sake of manageablity)
*We have a fairly equal balance of both male and female players
*We have a fully upgraded guild hall
*We have a Teamspeak 3 and a comprehensive and active website

We’re looking for members who are going to interact with the guild both game-wise and socially.

I am from Anvil Rock also! I am in 3 AR guilds at the moment: [ALS],[METL], and [AR].

[ALS] and [METL] are fully upgraded casual PvX guilds. [AR] is level 22 casual WvW guild.

If you are into PvE, [CRFT] is also good choice. It is fully upgraded AR based PvX guild with heavy focus on PvE. I can talk to my friend to send you an invite there if you wish.

All the guilds I mentioned above are very friendly If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in game.
