We are two individuals looking for hardcore WvW play.
- Must be long established.
- No drama.
- Must have had GvG experience and/or be ranked in NA GVG.
- Active PST.
- VoIp capability
- Mid-tier server. We hate skill lag.
Although we get plenty of fun roaming in our current server, we are looking for a higher level of play involving GvG style and large group (Not zerg) coordination.
We play at a very high skill level and have geared characters including several class choices. I have high GvG experience and have participated in and helped coordinate 5+ different winning GvGs and have participated in many more unofficial GvGs.

I suggest picking the mid-tier servers that appeal to you and going through the gw2gvg list and checking out the gvg guilds listed on those servers. Most of those are also wvw guilds.

Unfortunately, the information on that site is skewed by the number of GVG’s/the unrecorded GVG’s on it. There are several guilds there having lost gvg’s that I have witnessed (Terribly BTW) that are high ranked after only 2-3 GVGs. Terrible players, terrible tactics, yet still excessively high ranked because of how the win/loss ratio is calculated.
It gives me no extra information other than which guilds have GVGed before, no actual information on the guilds, their structure or skill.
Check out Sea of Sorrows guilds. Almost all of them do GvG, EP, CNB, Agg, CB, DIE, FANG, BANE, Rx, have all done GvGs. All of the other guilds I named with the exception of CB is NA raid times 6-10pm server time.
Also the easiest of these guilds to get into would be DIE since they just transferred and are trying to get their numbers back up to what they were on E-BAY. Most other guilds nearly never recruit.

Well, between [EP](Everything Purple) and [AGG](Aggression) those are the dogs when it comes to GvGs. Doesn’t get much better than those guys when it comes to NA.
With that said I’d strongly recommend coming to SoS.

We basically formed a havoc squad guild from refugee wvw commanders that wanted to do exactly what you are talking about. Our guild is divided amongst roaming squads of only the strongest players to help sor cause as much havoc as possible.

At this point and time most larger guilds are breaking down or should be into smaller guilds. Even the T1 servers are less laggier then they use to be. It makes sense for them to respond.
We do not really enjoy the lag and the wait time, but are most certainly considering the mobility of guilds and their ability to move down to middle tier in order to face different challengers.

(Which starts officially tomorrow, so we wont be in game as much, but will constantly be attentive to all in and out of game forms of communication since we are taking our time and thoroughly considering all guild options.
Also, we have no bones about playing on vacation if tryouts are needed. I have my laptop with me, so that isn’t an issue.

We are still in the process of researching our decision, (Although on vacation right now and not playing too often), we are greatly welcoming any guild offers and would love to sit down and talk together about guild memberships or even do in game tryouts if necessary. (We like tryouts and meet and greets, it helps, trust us!)
