Guild Wars 2

What’s up gw2 people.

So, I’m looking for a guild on the JQ server. I’m in NA (central time zone to be exact), but I’m on at a myriad of hours so as long as your guild is fairly active, I shouldn’t have a problem blending in. I’ve been playing this game since beta but have been on and off because I usually quit during the school year, and I’m back now for at least the summer. Part of the reason for me quitting so often is that I’ve been unable to find a good community of people to game with. I’m trying to find my own little niche of people to play with. I’m 21 years old and am a college student. I’d like to find a group of people similar to me in that they’re interested playing at least at a somewhat competitive level, but also don’t mind doing the odd goofball stuff every now and then. I’m not necessarily looking for a guild where everyone is around my age, because old folks and teenagers can be pretty chill too.

I’m usually turned off by really large guilds, although I’m not completely ruling them out if you feel I would be a good fit. I just like smaller guilds of about 30-50 where mostly everyone knows each other and they all play together. Socially, I’d like it to be a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Although I’m pretty nonchalant when it comes to most things, I would like a guild with a bit of an attitude. It gets tiring when everyone is all wound up trying to be on their best behavior, and I don’t want to be punished for making the occasional snarky comment about something I don’t like in the game or if we got stomped on in a WvW run. Take it like this—the GW1 pvp community had alot of kittens, but they were still a really fun group of people to just hang out with and play the game with.

GAMING WISE

My biggest reason to look for a guild is for WvW. I wanna learn a thing or two about WvW. Although I’m not opposed to the occasional giant mob, I would like to be part of a guild that frequently utilizes other tactics such as employing havoc groups or sneakier tactics like that.

In addition, I would like the guild I join to have members who don’t mind running the occasional dungeon or fractal when they’re not wvwing.
