Guild Wars 2

Edit: if I’ll not get any responses in a week or so, I think I’ll just create a guild and try to grow it, with nice, tolerant community. Therefore responses from people with same/similar hopes, or just friendly people, are appreciated too.

Hello all guild leaders/representatives who are reading this post.

For introduction, I would just want to write couple of sentences. I am experienced casual player, playing every game mode/aspect of it, except fractals and team arenas (although would play if I find a team), but I have a big lack of social skills. Therefore, if you don’t think that your guild memebrs are all rational and nice people or that your guild can’t cope with somebody who can be a real pita sometimes, then you can stop reading there and continue browsing other posts.

Also I am in Desolation server and not willing to transfer for reasons explained below. Therefore if your guild is not in Desolation you can also stop reading.

For those who are still reading I can now write more about myself and kind of guild I am looking for.

First of all, my GW2 player side. Mainly I play PvE (Living story, world bosses, dungeons, leveling) and WvW (EotM/Borderlands roaming/zerging), also do some PvP (HJ and (more) Solo queue). I am playing since launch. Playing 2 hours per day on average (although usually more, just with few-day breaks), therefore I can call myself somewhat experienced player, but by no ways a hardcore one. Yes, I don’t like struggling in dungeons, but I am willing to help new players if they want to learn.

Second, my hopes for a guild and some personal info. I am looking for a casual PvX guild, which is regularly doing guild missions. A guild, where I can write in chat that I am looking for dungeon group or 1-2 people to roam in WvW with and receive answer rather quickly. Where people are nice, tolerant and not trying to bully other. Having voice chat is not a mandatory, but if you use now, it should be Mumble. Due to my obsessive nature I am really used to only it. That is the same reason I don’t want to leave Desolation server. Can sound stupid, but I can’t do anything about it. Also, if you use voice chat, it shouldn’t be necessary for everybody to use it. I don’t want to feel restricted from doing some guild activities just because of my social incapability.

Also I have mentioned that sometimes I can be pita. And it comes to every person. Actually, there is only one person, both IRL and virtually, who seemed to somewhat understand me. A few more who can bear me. It can sound that I am an kitten (actually lots of people thinks so and it hurts) and am proud being one, but I have kind of disorder which limits my social capabilities and causes me to act in a strange ways even if the situation seems nothing special to other people. That’s why I want a guild with rational, nice, tolerant people, so I don’t have such a meltdowns in a guild chat. I was recently kicked from one only because of it. I offended some people too much and they said to leaders that they will leave if I stay in a guild.

I don’t have much hope that there are guilds who would welcome me, but I would really appreciate if you would. Playing MMO in a single-player game is really depressing. I am willing to communicate to people. I just have not much idea how to do it.

We are an hybrid PvX guild, but we mostly focus on PvE. Where are a guild where you can make new friends and enjoy the game with other players. We wanted to create a guild that is right for everyone and as well to let them be themselves.

We have the hardcore atmosphere for those hardcore players but as well a casual feel for casual players too. We are also a cross-server guild, so everyone from any server can join us. We’ll have other members guest on our server or we’ll guest on theirs for fun.

- All Dungeons: We do all dungeons story & exp.
- Fractals: We do nightly fractals.
- sPvP: We have teams for those hardcore PvPers.
- WvW: We do nightly WvW runs.
- Personal Story: We team up with members on personal story
- Living Story: We do every living story.
- Leveling: We group up with our lower levels, often 2-3 parties and just level together.

Synergy is a guild started by some friends with a goal to be create a small community of friendly players. We aren’t interested in having 500 members where no one knows anyone else. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.
