Guild Wars 2

Hello all,

My friends and I (3 of us total) recently picked up GW2 and are having a blast. Yet, we haven’t been able to find a guild that fits us as we are looking for a guild on the Yak’s Bend Server for WvW purposes.

We are all in the MST Timezone.

I am a semi-hardcore player mainly interested in WvW and sPvP.

My friends are also interested in WvW, but are more casual in play. They are also interested in doing some PvE.

We are new to the game, but not to MMO’s, so we will pick things up quickly, but we just need the right people teach us.

I could always interest you in a spot in Wizened Wizards [WISE] guild. =)

We are a PvX (heavily focused to PvE) casual, yet structured, guild who wants to try to take part in all aspects that GW2 has to offer. Although we are a guild with growing numbers, we take more accustomed to the phrase ‘quality over quantity’, and that’s what we intend to do.

Being a casual guild, I have my rule of never removing one for inactivity; play at your leisure. Although I cannot assure you that you may/may not see many on at your time (especially with some schoolers/workers in the guild), we will definitely be on to have a great time with you!

Being a structured guild, while we don’t necessarily have a rep requirement as you join, we do keep an eye on this based to on our rank system, basically showing your loyalty/commitment to our guild, while always having fun with the other guilds.

We do not make it required that you have to be on our home server (Fort Aspenwood) to join the guild at all, but if you plan to do WvW with us, then you will need to consider a transfer to FA then. The type of voice communication we use is TeamSpeak 3, and I will try to get everyone to use it at that prime-time you listed!

If the server is a reason that would prevent this, can talk with you in game in regards to a server transfer and all of that.

www.yaks-bend.enjin.com is where you want to post about YB guilds. The guild section has pretty much all the contact info you might need.

These are some recommendations,
1. OTG – big mature guild that covers everething from pve/wvw to pvp.
2. Dyak – One of the biggest and oldest YB guilds that is pve oriented, but they have events in wvw and quiet a bit in spvp. They are 24/7 presence guild.
3. TOG – same as OTG, but has more off hours presence.
4.FoW – more WvW oriented pvx guild on YB. They are very active in wvw, and have some great spvp players.
They are still pretty casual though.
5. For smaller casual pvx check AI, BOZ, Loot, and more on the YB server site.

Forgot SCTY, another very cool YB pvx guild.
