Guild Wars 2

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Legion Of Doom [LOD] is an active PVE guild recruiting on Sanctum of Rall. We are a 7 year old community that played Guild Wars 1 together and has stayed together into Guild Wars 2. About 2 years ago in Guild Wars we were known as Club of a Thousand Pandas [LOD?]. We were proud to be a DOASC guild as well as hold several records in Guild Wars not only for DOA but most elite areas as both Legion of Doom and Club of A Thousand Pandas.

We are looking for active members that not only enjoy PVE, but Dungeons, WvW and Group Events. Our main focus is speed-clearing dungeons, in particular the Crucible of Eternity, Arah, and FOTM. While members have a vareity of interests and we encourage them to explore all the different ways there are to explore the game, dungeon play is the primary focus of the guild. We have unlocked all guild missions that we do at least twice a week for members. We have people that are always looking for faster and more efficient ways to do Dungeons.

We expect members to represent LOD and to participate in Guild activities. We have a Teamspeak server that we expect all members to use for guild runs. If you are interested in joining LOD please fill out an application and an officer will contact you in game.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
TS3 is our primary tool for running dungeons and socializing as a guild; most guild activities are organized through Teamspeak. All members must be able to use Teamspeak3, and a headset or standing microphone is greatly encouraged.
Our basic dungeon speedclear setup consists of 1 Guardian, 1 Mesmer, 2-3 Warriors, and 0-1 Elementalists. We therefore require applicants to have at least one level 80 character that is a Guardian, Mesmer, Warrior, or Ele and that is fully geared in Exotic Berzerker armor.
Players who possess a Guardian or Mesmer as their ONLY level 80 character should have some previous experience speedclearing COE and Arah. All new applicants are greatly encouraged to (or be working towards) a level 80 Warrior as they are the primary class we use to teach new players speedclear tactics.
We expect that the majority of one’s time be spent representing LOD. We don’t mind if you have a storage guild or would like to play with other friends on occasion, but one should be representing the guild during most play. 100% Representation is required during dungeon runs (including PUG runs).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
If you are interested in joining LOD please PM an Officer and fill out the application in the sticky.
An LOD officer will take you on a trial run through Arah or COE and make the decision whether or not to extend a probationary invite (Note: you need not have experience in these dungeons before a trial, officers will teach you all necessary tactics throughout the run. The trial is our time to see how well you listen and follow directions).
If extended an invite, new members will undergo a 2-week trial period during which you will be granted access to the forums and are encouraged to join any and all dungeon runs and guild activities.
At the end of the 2 week trial period, the entire group of officers will make a decision (with input from LOD members) on whether to extend the applicant a full membership.
