Guild Wars 2

I would like to find a mature; family like guild where you know everyone.

I have an 80 of every class except Ranger, but my Warrior, Mesmer, and Necromancer are the best equipped and are my primaries.

I have been playing since beta but right now I just do the trains and dailies. I am up for WVW but I would really like to start doing fractals and dungeons the most.

I come from an RP background but I realize there aren’t a lot of them around but would like to be in a guild that has the feel at least. So, if your guild is ‘F1ying K@nye W3$t Kitt3nz!’ I definitely wouldn’t be a good fit.

Hiya, Malnek! Family-like guilds are the best. It’s an environment we’ve worked really hard to create in Ember Solace. I know you said Devona’s Rest, and we’re on Tarnished Coast, but if you wouldn’t mind guesting, I really think you’d like being with us. We don’t do much WvW (at least, not formally structured events, although some people enjoy WvW and EotM on their own and invite others to go with), but we love dungeons and Fractals.

We have a full Fractal guide on our forums and lots of members who are just getting into it. We usually have at least one scheduled Fractal event per week, with other spontaneous Fractal runs that happen on their own. Like last night, for example — we had a scheduled Level 1 Fractal event led by Dahkeus, and the people in the group enjoyed it so much that afterward, Ben organized a spontaneous Ascalonian Catacombs: Explorable Mode event and then a Level 2 Fractal event after that. (I think they were up late, lol.)

We don’t have any organized RP, but we do have a section on the forums for people to initiate RP if they choose, or to find RP partners for private RP. I think there are some people who would be interested in learning more about RP, but don’t really know where to start. I’ve been thinking about encouraging casual RP during dungeon runs.

Anyway, if you’re interested, I invite you to check out our forums. When you register, you get read-access to our GW2 sections, so you can see what kinds of events we do and get a feel for our community (like the hilarity that goes on in our screenshot thread). If you think we’d be a good fit for each other, you can submit an application. And of course I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have. =)
