Guild Wars 2

Hello, recently came back from a brief college induced hiatus, and find myself in need of a new guild. I’ve been playing since launch and have three- almost four – level 80’s (my main – a Mesmer, a Ranger, and a Guardian. My Elementalist is level 70 and will be 80 in a few days). I’m a 26 year old gay male, so LGBT friendly is an absolute must. I’m in the EST timezone and pretty active, but less so during the school semester, so please be understanding of that.

Ideally looking for an active, mature PvX guild that has a lot of dungeon activity (I need Knowledge Crystals and PUGs make me sad!). But really, just a guild that actively plays together, and has active leadership is all I ask (having planned events each week would be a nice bonus.) Having your own voice server is nice but not required. Would prefer not to have to deal with a 100% rep policy, but I might be convinced if your guild seems to really be what I’m looking for. I do WvW often, so it would be nice to be part of a guild that takes part in that together, even better if you have a good commander.

I’d really prefer to join a guild on the TC server only, as I’m not willing to transfer and guesting constantly seems silly to me. Also, since WvW is something I want to do with the guild, it’s pretty important you’re on TC. I feel like I’m asking for a lot (though most of what I’m looking for isn’t a requirement), but hopefully someone fits the bill! Happy Guild Waring!

Welcome back to GW2, Proko! There are a couple LGBT guilds on Tarnished Coast. I’d suggest mine, Ember Solace, but we don’t do much WvW right now. It’s something we want to do more of in the future, and we have members who do small roaming, but we don’t have an organized force (although one of our officers does have a Commander tag). Plus we require 100% rep (outside of personal bank guilds and Tequatl-killing guilds).

We’re in the process of moving to a new set of forums that will have better functionality (especially for the calendar, which I want to make active use of), so we don’t have many scheduled events at the moment. Most of our dungeoning is spur-of-the-moment. We don’t mind helping people through content that is new to them, and we like helping people get their Dungeon Master title. We’re also very laid-back and understanding about things coming up in life and needing to take breaks from the game. Oh, and we do have TS.

And if we’re not quite what you’re looking for, there’s also Our Sanctuary [LGBT] (formerly known as Equality Regiment), which is a very large guild (350 people?) with no rep policy that seems to have about 15 people repping at any given time. Or there’s Gryphon’s Aerie [REST] that is small and has more specific policies.

I just don’t want to log on an see a bunch of derogatory comments in the chat is all. I’ll take a look at your guild and see if it’s a good fit! I’m just going to wait to see if any other guilds present themselves before making a decision.

The Remnants of Hope is based on Tarnished Coast and offers PvX, RP, and WvW while maintaining a fun and social atmosphere in ts3 and guild chat. We don’t really have a mold for you to try and fit to. The biggest asset in the guild is the community. We have several different aspects that you can play in or just hang out with us in guild chat and/or ts3 and do nothing. Whatever makes the time that you have to game the best!

We welcome all levels/classes/play styles/ etc. If you like to have fun and want a good guild to hang out with and play with then we are it!

Ah, okay. =) Well whatever you end up choosing, I hope you find a great guild home. There are some good guilds to choose from, and I know one will be a good fit. ^^
