Hello all! My name is Karnaj!

I have owned Guild Wars 2 since it has been released. I stopped playing a while back because I didn’t really have anyone to play with and I wasn’t sure I was liking the direction of my character.

My highest character is a level 60 Sylvari Thief! He’s fun to play but I may be leveling another!

I am looking for a group of people who are fun and friendly, and are active. And might be able to lend a helping hand! I understand dungeons and what-not but haven’t really gone through them that much! Back when I was playing it kind of took a while to get into a dungeon, I’m not sure if it’s still the same now!

Hiya Karnaj! Welcome back to Tyria. =) I think you’d really like my guild, Ember Solace. We’re on Tarnished Coast (which is a North American server), and we are super friendly, fun, and active. And we definitely love lending a helping hand! It’s actually one of the main parts of our guild. We enjoy helping people with dungeons, PvP, and anything else in the game that they have questions about.

I might have what you’re looking for since you’re on an NA server. I run a smaller guild called The Gryphons Aerie. We’re a casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. We run on mostly an EST time frame but we do have several west coast, European and Asian/Oceanic time zone members.

Knowledge of and/or participation in RP is not required.
We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP (although we don’t have a regular WvsW showing) and we do have our own sPVP arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact.
We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. Just leave a little note to let us know you’ll be away, and all is well.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family.
We are very LGBTQ friendly (with several members of the leadership being either part of the community or allies of it) and do not tolerate any sort of derogatory words, comments, bigotry etc. toward anyone. There are also quite a few women in the guild, myself included.

We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons/Fractals (which I love to help teach), builds, and other general game questions. All you need to do is ask. We also don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc, nor require anyone to bring a specific class or build for any dungeon run. Bring whatever you want and we’ll have fun regardless.

There is no requirement to be representing us at all times.
It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us a fair bit of time too.

It’s ok if you’re not on Tarnished Coast. There’s no need to transfer right away or at all. You can always just guest with us for dungeons, fractals and other sorts of mischief and shenanigans that we may find ourselves in.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

My name is Telana Dentari, humble emissary from the guild called Remnants of Hope. For generations, war and chaos raged across the land of Tyria. Five races competed and warred against each other, struggling to tip the balance of power in their favor. In Guild Wars 2, we participate in PvE, PvP and RP on the Tarnished Coast server.

What aspects of the game do we focus on, you might ask?

Remnants of Hope wants to give you the opportunity to build your own playstyle. This means we offer PvE, PvP/WvW and RP. You are free to play the way you want! Don’t care for PvE but love PvP? Go for it! Not so hot for either PvE or PvP but want to really immerse yourself in your character through role-play? Not a problem. Whether you’re casual, semi-hardcore, or hardcore, we’re right there with you. We don’t limit ourselves to one thing that the game has to offer, but all fields that we can conquer as an ever-growing community. Our focus is far from linear like some guilds might be, and we will make the best of everything we’re given!

We hold many in game events such as PvE dungeons, group role-play, PvP, and WvW. While role-play is not required of anyone who joins, we have many talented role-players and writers who work together to create a brilliant and immersive experience both in game and on our forums. Whether you prefer to weave your character’s legendary tale as part of our turn-based forum role-play or to bring it to action during in-game events, role-players of all types will find a welcome home in our halls. In addition to this, we also promote free writing on our forums and even hold writing contests to share stories both within the GW2 universe and beyond!

NooBs is an established guild on Sorrow’s Furnace whose founders originated in Guild Wars 1 and have been around since beta and launch.

Our main goal is to relax and have fun with the game, not create a second job for people. Therefore, the guild is easy going and we welcome players of all skill levels, experience, and time spent in game. We have no explicit age requirements, rules, or lengthy application processes. »Events & Activities: Active world boss participation, living story event participation, guild bonuses (always active +10% Magic Find)/banners, guild events, giveaways, and activities.

»Guild missions: We run guild bounties, treks, rushes, challenges, and puzzles so that our members may enjoy the benefits of guild commendations.

»Experienced leaders: Our leaders and officers are veteran Guild Wars players with multiple max level characters of all races and classes able to answer questions and offer assistance.

»Online Community: Website updated frequently to keep members current with events, forums discussions, Facebook Group, and many useful resources to enhance in-game experiences.

What we expect from you:
»Representation: We do NOT require 100% representation at this time, but we do ask and encourage people to represent as much as possible and join in guild events and groups. Don’t make us be your over attached girlfriend constantly pestering you with PMs to come hang out with us.

»Activity: Be active and be part of the guild! We do NOT require a specific amount of activity per week or demand your constant attention, but we don’t need members as placeholder. Please make an effort to be part of the guild and join in groups.

»Resources: Utilize your resources. Our website is the best place to keep up on events and discussions. We know not everyone is super talkative, but we want members to interact, guild chat and Mumble provides you that service.
