Guild Wars 2

I realize most people posting on this forum post that they’re looking for a guild, but I want to take that search a step farther in my case. I’m looking for a home on Tarnished Coast. A guild that is not restricted by age, level, gameplay preference or anything like that is good, but what my friends and I really need is a home, a family.

It seems every other guild we’ve been in either only the primary members get any attention or everyone has already formed their own little groups. Even the best of them, I’ve felt alienated and ignored in to some exent or another in, and I have seen my friends suffering the same. No one ever really took the time to talk to us or get to know us. Even when we tried to reach out and talk with people or even tried to get a party going, we usually only got only silence or excuses. I am so tired of all that. I am tired of reaching out to nothing. I want my friends and I to be able to join a guild that not only makes us feel welcome upfront, but continues to make us feel at home months after we’ve joined. I want to see a community where the leader and members alike respect each other and forget no one.

This game is fun, but I haven’t been playing the past 7 months to get the best levels or gear or anything like that. I’m playing to make and spend time with good friends. I realize this is probably a silly sort of request looking for such a guild, but I’m not having much luck searching the other way.

I am the co-leader of a small but growing guild of active adult players on Stormbluff Isle called Cliff Divers of Tyria. We have a wide variety of ages and player experience levels in our guild. We do identify ourselves as an “adult” guild, and in that way, we may sound like we’re gated by an age restriction, but we are by no means closed to any player that is mature and friendly. With that being said, it sounds like you may fit in with us just fine. We pride ourselves on being the type of guild where, not to sound like a cheesy 80s TV show set in a bar but, “everybody knows your name.”

Granted, we are not on Tarnished Coast, and if that is a “must” for you, I completely understand that. But I invite you to check out our forum post for more information about who we are and what we have come together to be in this game, and if you and your friends would like a trial invite, we would be more than happy to have you!!

Really sorry to hear about your previous experiences, nothing worse than that and even though you say you will not find what you are looking for I feel you are describing our guild exactly. Whether you are new to the guild or a veteran, many of our guild members will drop what they are doing to be sure you have someone to help you complete whatever it is you are wanting to do. We do allow guesting for up to a month before transfer so the server shouldn’t be an issue here.

The Unholy Mackerels [UM] is a small-medium sized (30 active w/ no activity req. ~15 prime time), social and fun PvX guild residing on FA. We treat everyone here like a part of the family and our relationships with each other become long-term friendships. We are down to earth and genuinely like to have silly fun but also like to work together to get things done!
