Guild Wars 2

Greetings! My current guild will be disbanding and I’m in search of a new home. I’ve been playing GW2 for a little over a month. I play daily, usually in the overnight hours US Central time. I don’t get much time to play on weekends because of real life.

I’m looking for a guild of active players. Size of the guild is less important, but it would be nice if there’s always someone on. I’d like to find a guild that is mature, preferably an adult only guild, but also one that doesn’t blow up the profanity filter (If I wanted to listen to people swear and curse and insult each other I’d stay at work!).

I may be interested in a roleplaying guild, but I’m not certain how well I’d be suited to it. I’m always looking to try new stuff though. I’m definitely not into sPvP but WvW might be a possibility if you’re willing to show me the ropes. I play on Yak’s Bend but if the right group of people comes along I’d be willing to switch at some point.

I realize that I’m putting a lot of criteria out here and it will likely take some time to find a guild that I’ll fit in. I’m okay with that. The most important thing I can ask is patience. Synergy is a guild started by some friends with a goal to create a small community of friendly players. We aren’t interested in having 500 members where no one knows anyone else. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.

Hello NevynZeddicus,

I lead an adult guild on Yak’s Bend that is a PvX guild with a heavier emphasis on PvE. We are a casual bunch with a focus on having fun. We don’t take the game to serious as the point people would start insulting each other, but we do joke around alot in the spirit of humor.

We are most active in the afternoon between the hours of 6pm and 11pm Central time but have members online all hours of the night up to about 3am.

We do not require members to sPvP and WvW with the members that enjoy it but we will be more than happy to show you the ropes and offer advice in these areas as well as any assistance you would need in PvE.
