Guild Wars 2

Hey all, topic pretty much says it all. I just started playing again, and finished leveling my Thief to 80, though I wanna get my level 20 Elementalist to 80 soonish as well. Anyway, I’m looking to find an active guild, my main interest atm is eventually getting into WvW, since following the mindless zerg around gets rather boring, but I’m also interested in the PvE side of things. Been doing the solo thing/small friend guild thing at the moment, but they’re not on enough to really do anything. So I’m hoping to find a more active guild who is willing to accept a fresh level 80.

Heya Reeth! Grats on 80! I started out with ele and loved it, but ended up choosing engi for my main. From what you described, I think you’d like it in Ember Solace — we’re a small-ish PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we do regular scheduled activities (plus spontaneous activities) several times a week. We have a PvE Officer, a PvP Officer, and a Newbie Officer (who helps new players learn the ropes). Welcome back to Tyria. I think I might have what you’re looking for. My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smallish (approx 65 members), casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family. We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons/Fractals (which I love to help teach), builds, and other general game questions. We don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc.

There is no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.
