Guild Wars 2

I am a experienced RPer who has grown bored of playing the other MMO’s I play. I RP on WoW well did but grew bored of it and want to give GW2 a chance now. So…. Any RP guilds out there? List server etc if possible.

If you’re looking for a guild that does RP, then you might like my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we have forum RP and in-game RP. The in-game official story arc RP happens on Friday nights (Eastern time), but there are people interested in RP at other times, and they coordinate for that. Noodle is our RP Officer (the person who heads up our RP), with Dasha and Squiddy as her Assistants.

We’re 100% rep (people in Ember Solace can’t be in any other guilds at all), and we have an (OOC) application and a Trial Period. If you’re interested, you can check out our forums. The Calendar is viewable to anyone, and if your register and confirm your e-mail, you can get read-access to most of our GW2 sections.

If you’re looking for a guild that focuses on RP specifically, you could check out Guild Wars 2 Roleplayers. They have a Guild Recruitment sub-forum that’s pretty active.

Technically, Tarnished Coast was adopted as the “unofficial RP server” for NA, but now that the megaserver system has been implemented, server no longer matters for anything except WvW, as long as you’re in the same region (e.g., NA).
