Heavens Rage

Hello, my guild and I are looking for a decent small man server. We’ll generally run between 5-10 players, so we enjoy doing small group and havoc. However the problem we’ve been facing is the lack of competition. It’s seems very difficult to find other small man groups to fight, or setting up GvGs, so in turn we do zerg busting, however that gets somewhat boring after a while. So I’m asking is, what are some servers that have competitive small group(s) to play with and against?
Thanks in advance for the feedback! Also this is for NA.

I think IOJ would be ur best option. We have a very good roaming guild called ggggg and were not as blobby as t3 servers so u are guaranteed small fights from t4 and t5. Were more of a server with very even at every time zone so smaller zergs and good coverage should b best for roamers
Yak’s Bend has a big need for havoc groups like yours. The competition in t3 is pretty good, but it would be more blobs than t4 or t5 during NA primetime. I think you could definitely find your niche there. IoJ is also a really good option, great for roamer coverage.

In T6; 5+ players makes a havoc squad, 10+ players is a guild group and 20+ is a map zerg. This makes it ideal for you to be able to find and fight groups of similar numbers without getting zerged (Though you might encounter an uplevel/karmatrainer blob of 40+ on occasion!).
SoR has reasonably good coverage with its primarily NA and very active die-hard non-NA crews, an organized and coordinated community (Weekly pre-reset meetings, TS, participation feature, etc.), integrated PvE/WvW events (Community Tequatl/guild missions followed by WvW) and a nice rotation of relatively unzergy opponents.
You can pay us a visit at our website and maybe join one of our PvE events and comms to get a feel if the SoR community is the WvW community for you.

Tier 8 calls 10 man groups zergs. With 5 man you can do a quite a bit, even cap SMC in off hours. Id say ET, but I am clearly Biased, but the other tier 7-8 servers would suit you well. If by chance you are interested in ET, feel free to message me here, in game or look at the Nob website at http://nob.enjin.com/?welcome or ETs site http://eredonterrace.enjin.com/. Best of luck to you all finding a new home.
I can also vouch for SoR. What you are asking for is actually exactly what some guildies and I were discussing last night as something we need more of on the server. My guild has official raids that give numbers of 12-15, but have a lot of regular, unscheduled, 5-10 person group runs, with high effectiveness.
Some servers we face have large NA prime zergs, but not on every map. Other servers do not have high zergs. GoM this round has a huge EB zerg, but runs a lot of 10-15 person groups in the BL’s. It varies with each matchup, which is kind of nice, because each week gives a little bit of variety. It is rather nice to not be fighting the same 2 servers every week.
Message me in-game for more information. I would love to share more and introduce you to some core community members. Most importantly, we focus on having an engaging community that works together. I’d be happy to direct you to others in the community for a second opinion.

I know you said this is for NA, but did you consider to try EU WvW? I’m from FSP and we need some more NA people to increase our night coverage and be competitive in gold leauge.
AFAIK ping will be the same and you could really make a difference in our server.
Please, check out our recruitment post and feel free to ask any question.

I suggest look into SoR. There are many small groups that roam on the borderlands, and even on reset, you are likely to find fights with similar numbers. My guild is 10-15 ppl and we find very good fights even when we split groups. Our 5 man teams ALWAYS find fights on the BLs. In general, you cannot go wrong with mid-upper bronze league for fights, because you get match-up variety, fewer blobs, and a plethora of roamers to fight.
