I would prefer to go either IOJ or NSP but I’m open what I’m looking for is stability. My guild and I moved to DR to be with friends than their entire server left. it’s a ghost town. We wanted to go EU but we can’t handle the lag.

We are small guild pvx lots of vets and quality new players. But realistically we are looking to be absorbed by a larger guild with a WvW focus. We want our next server to be our last and we would like to be some where with a healthy friendly environment that has enough people to defend their own keeps.

My name is Josh, I run a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast called Dragon Empire Alliance and we are in the process now of adding more WvW to our schedule with 2-3 raids a week in addition to dungeon and mission night.

A bit about us, we’ve been around for 8 months and we were originally founded by merging two guilds together, hence the “alliance” in our name. In fact I used to advertise looking to recruit smaller guilds but they were rare to find so eventually I stopped. As of now we have 70 members from what used to be 4 different guilds.

As far as server stability, it is good. Having been the RP server and working our way from T3 to T1 over two years has helped keep us healthy, we are continually getting more guilds transferring here.

As far as guild stability we are good too. I’m a GW1 vet and have been playing GW2 since the head start. We have an 85% rep requirement. 75% of our members have played in the past week and 50% in the last day. Those that take extended breaks over two months get temporarily removed until they return.

We are very friendly, play competitively with a casual attitude. I’d love to talk more and answer any questions you might have.

We are also good about quickly promoting your leaders into higher ranks for mergers.

As far as guild size goes we recently reopened recruitment and are looking to keep growing, but we also like to be personal, so we will probably never aim to be a mega guild. We are also in the process of developing our core WvW group. We have many veterans to help get it rolling but as a guild we are still building this aspect of guild life.

From what I read I think [KOGS] is what you’re looking for. We are a large guild located on IoJ. We consider ourselves PvX but focus mainly on WvW. T3 is pretty dead compared to T2 and T1. Just see what happened when FA switched places with Dragonbrand for a week: http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/39/229

If you’re looking for a stable WvW future, T1 and T2 are your best bets.

The current T2 match is very close each week, making it a very interesting place to be. On SoS there’s stuff happening in each timezone, but queues are not really an issue – they rarely pop outside of NA. We have a large amount of fight guilds and GvGs happening in T2 as well.

Finally, some of the guilds that used to be on DR are on SoS now. Perhaps you can join your old friends?

T4 and T5 are very competitive with plenty of fights during and NA/Sea/Ocx time. T3 is a mess and I recommend you stay away from tier 3 as there are currently 4 T2 servers and the match-ups are just bad.

Servers such as SBI, DH, GoM, CD and HoD are all solid servers with good communities and guilds that are wvw focused.

Heya Duke. I recently moved my small-to-medium sized (20ish regulars, 8-12 active/day) guild to NSP and I’ve been having a blast so far. I came along with a group of other friendly guilds from SoR (including FIRE RISE VEX and BOMB) and we’ve found the community very welcoming.

I’m still getting to know the WvW guilds on NSP, but I had the opportunity to run with RAID the other day and they were great.

If I can offer any advice or assistance, message me here or in-game. I’d be happy to give you an honest assessment of what the NSP move has been like. Sounds like you’re in a similar situation as we were.
