For a long time now I have been on Sorrow’s Furnace. However the vast majority of the time their wvw tactic is “Zerg, stack, zerg, troll, stack, zerg”, with only a few specific guilds understanding how defense works. I’m looking to join a new world, one that has a lot of players who understand strategy and tactics – but preferably one that doesn’t get insanely mad at someone for being out of formation or crap like that either.

I mostly play wvw and dungeon-running, with some open-world pve on the side (usually boss farming or living world). My normal times are afternoon to late at night EST (-5 GMT), and I’m comfortable on Battleground and Borderlands alike.

Any recommendations for a suitable world?

Hey ZhonLord, you might want to look at maybe joining NSP. Here you will find a server with very, very organized PvE events, all on teamspeak. Also, and I know how bold this is to claim, but over 80% of this server knows WvW tactics. We are typically outnumbered, and NSP is no stranger to winning fights with half of the opposing sides amount of players. There are many organized guilds here, all of which foster their own communities which in turn contribute to our larger, server wide, pool of friends (Os, ZoS, MAGI, MOO, MeSi, just to name a few). Many people love to call NSP home, and hopefully you will aswell.

Zhon if you wish to move to Gom, build siege and refresh it I for one would lub you forever.

We have commanders who are skilled at zerg, stack, kill and we have commanders who are skilled at siege tactics. When we are more on the outnumbered side you see siege start to shine more.

We are malleable in our strategy depending on the situation on the ground, and isn’t that what you really want? Somewhere where everyone isn’t standing in the road in front of SM thinking its the only place that counts?

We siege and blow up the zerg.

We have a good roaming population.

We don’t have the luxury of zerg stack and roll, so we do a bit of everything.

I spent 60% of my day today solo capping back camps, on teamspeak with nobody crying. If your trying to be helpful we will love ya. Period.

that’s the bottom line man. Our Awesome to Kittenhat quotient is quite low.

You Should Consider SBI. I also have moved here from SF and tho i loved SF…the SBI community is amazing here. We have several medium sized guilds dedicated to defensive play. We also have anti hammer train guilds that are very effective! I have created a havoc guild Rebel Dps [ReD] and we have been working closely with [Zeal] (one of our home BL defenders). We were welcomed with open arms when joining the server and i know either [ReD] or [Zeal] among other WvW guilds would be more than happy to welcome you here on SBI.
